Day 1Arrive in Chongqing

Upon arrival in Chongqing, you will be greeted by a professional guide and escorted to the hotel.

Day 2Head to Nanchuan and visit Jinfo Mountain.

After breakfast, we will head to Nanchuan and visit Jinfo Mountain (including cable car up and down + environmental protection car). Jinfo Mountain was formed 260 million years ago. It is located near the mysterious north latitude of 30 degrees, close to Mount Everest, the Maya civilization, and the ancient Egyptian pyramids. This area is a Karst World Natural Heritage site with unique natural features such as the golden turtle sunrise, cliff trestles, and Tianxing Town. Feel free to soak in the Tianxing Hot Springs in the evening (swimsuit required).

Day 3Visit the enigmatic Puhua Dark River and Zhuoshui Ancient Town.

After a hearty breakfast, we set off in the morning towards Qianjiang, embarking on a journey to visit the enigmatic Puhua Dark River, a serene natural wonder that offers a cruise boat ride for a unique experience. Our excursion continues to the charming Zhuoshui Ancient Town, where we will explore the historical alleys and soak in the ambiance of this ancient settlement. As the evening draws near, we will be treated to a breathtaking view of Asia's largest wind and rain-covered bridge, its illuminated grandeur reflecting the night sky, creating a magical sight that will leave us in awe.

Day 4Embark on a tour of the City's Grand Canyon, then drive to Wulong, encounter Chiyou Jiuli City along the way

After breakfast, we will embark on a captivating tour of the City's Grand Canyon, a spectacular natural wonder that includes a ride on a battery-powered car. As the day progresses, we will journey to Wulong, where we will encounter the enchanting Chiyou Jiuli City along the way. This awe-inspiring destination is renowned as the largest traditional Miao architectural complex in China, showcasing the rich heritage and unique architectural styles of the Miao people. After a day of exploration, we will settle into our hotel for a comfortable evening, reflecting on the beauty and culture we have encountered.

Day 5Visit Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges and Fairy Mountain National Forest Park.

After breakfast, visit Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges (including a battery car and an environmental protection car). The scenic tour route is 5 kilometers from the cliff to the bottom of the valley. You'll see the Tianlong (Sky Dragon) Bridge, Qinglong (Green Dragon) Bridge, and Heilong (Black Dragon) Bridge, which are three large, impressive stone arch bridges. The average height of the bridges is over 200 meters, and the bridge floor is about 100 meters wide. These enormous natural bridges are rare in China and the world, making it the largest natural bridge group in Asia. Director Zhang Yimou filmed the world-famous "Curse of the Golden Flower" here. Afterward, visit Fairy Mountain National Forest Park, which includes a small train ride. After dinner, check in to the hotel.

Day 6Visit the Baiheliang Underwater Museum, hang out in Nanbin Road Rain Park and Danzishi Old Street​.

After breakfast, you can visit the Baiheliang Underwater Museum, which includes an escalator and is known as the world's first underwater museum. Then, you can head to Nanbin Road Rain Park and spend time on the Danzishi Old Street. In the evening, you can enjoy the Fantastic Acrobatic Show.

Day 7In-depth tour of Chongqing, including Chaotianmen Square,Chongqing's 18 Steps, Hongya Cave, and Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street,etc.

The day begins with a stroll through the Graffiti Art Street. Here, walls come alive with vibrant murals, each telling a story unique to the artist's imagination.  From the streets of art, we make our way to the Jiaotong Teahouse, a historical landmark that embodies the city's rich tea culture. Next, we take in the majestic exterior of the Grand Auditorium. Continuing our journey, we visit Chaotianmen Square, a bustling hub of activity and a popular gathering spot for locals and tourists alike. As we delve deeper into the city, we arrive at the 18 Steps. Chongqing's 18 Steps (十八梯 Shibati) is a traditional-style scenic area located in Yuzhong District of Chongqing. We wander through narrow alleys, admiring the intricate details of the old buildings and soaking in the authentic ambiance. As the sun begins to set, we make our way to the Hongya Cave (Hongyadong), where the city's nightscape comes alive. Finally, we end our day at the bustling Jiefangbei Pedestrian Street, a shopping paradise that offers a wide range of local delicacies, souvenirs, and fashionable clothing.

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
