Day 1Guiyang Arrival

Welcome to Guizhou! You will be met by your driver at the airport and then transferred to the hotel to have check-in. Have a good rest and the rest of the day will be free for you to explore the city by yourself.

Day 2Drive to visit Tianxingqiao Scenic Area and Huangguoshu Waterfall​, then drive to Anshun.

Today after breakfast, drive about 2.5 hours to get to Tianxingqiao Scenic Area, which is composed of Natural Bonsai Garden, Tianxing Cave, and Stone Forest in Water.

Thereafter, come to the highlight today -- Huangguoshu Waterfall. The water is just like a curtain, through which you even cannot see the stones behind it! It was the filming location of the famous Chinese drama --Doupotang Waterfall, which top is the widest among all the waterfalls of Huangguoshu.

Later in the day, drive to Anshun to have an overnight stay.

Day 3Drive to visit Qingyan Ancient Town and Longmen Town, then drive to Libo to stay overnight.

Enjoy your breakfast in the hotel and we will drive to Libo.

The first sight we will visit is Qingyan Ancient Town. Its history can be traced back to the Ming dynasty, 600 years ago, and was built for military use. Highlights of this town are the old buildings and various street food.

Visit Longmen Town in the afternoon. It is a water town that is famous for its stunning night scenery and legends. Enjoy your time in the town by strolling around or having a cup of tea in the tea house.

After visiting, drive to Libo to stay overnight.

Day 4Visit Daqikong Scenic Area and Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, then drive to Xijiang to visit Xijiang Miao Village,

Enjoy a buffet breakfast at the hotel before setting out to explore the natural and cultural marvels of Guizhou. In the morning, we will visit the Daqikong Scenic Area, named after the ancient Daqikong Bridge, which has 7 holes. You can enjoy picturesque views of forests, gorges, streams, and lakes there.

After lunch, we'll head to Xiaoqikong Scenic Area, which is home to another 7-hole arch bridge. This site is known for its beautiful waterfalls and streams.

Before night falls, we'll drive to Xijiang and visit Xijiang Miao Village to enjoy the enchanting night scenery and spend the night there. Have a great night in the lovely village!

Day 5Stroll around the village to feel the charms of Miao culture, then back to Guiyang to leave.

Be waken up by the birds singing and the fresh morning breeze in the village. Then enjoy your breakfast in the hotel.

We will stroll around the beautiful and exotic village to feel the charms of Miao culture. You can try the Miao traditional costumes to take photos and also learn and try to make the Miao-style glutinous rice cake.

Lunch is a Miao Feast served on a very long table. That is the highest standard of feast used to treat the most honorable guests by the Miao people. Enjoy your meal and the hospitality of local Miao people.

Afterward, drive back to Guiyang to catch your flight home. Wish you a pleasant journey and hope to see you again in your next China trip!

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
