Day 1Arrive in Harbin

Today your flight will touch down in Harbin. We will meet you at the airport exit with a welcome board. Then a comfortable drive will send you to the local hotel for check in. The rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own. Rest up and get ready for tomorrow's adventure!

Day 2Harbin city tour then train to Mohe

After Breakfast, you'll embark on a journey with your guide and driver, leading you straight to Central St.also known the Zhongyang Street, which was originally built in 1898 when there were abundant of Russian business man in Harbin. It's considered as the architectural art galley: Baroque and byzantine lining both sides, including Russian bakeries, French fashion houses and Japanese restaurants and so on. It's a good place to see architectural styles as well as for shopping and taste different Cuisine.

Following that,you will be met by the local guide and transferred to the St. Sophia Church. With Byzantine style and meaning of 'God's wisdom' for name, it looks so beautiful as if it had been made by God's hands. It was first built in 1907 and rebuilt into brick and wood structure in 1912. It is the largest Orthodox Church in the Far East.

Next, embark on a historical journey to Laodaowai, the birthplace of Harbin. This celebrated street block stands out as the largest Chinese Baroque ensemble in China, boasting a plethora of enchanting Baroque structures that exude the rich romantic hues of the early 20th century. As you wander freely through the old streets and alleys, admire the blend of western façades with traditional Chinese courtyard and interior designs, accompanied by intriguing folk sculptures. 

After the tour, we will take the train to Mohe.

Day 3Mohe to Beihong Village

We will pick you up from the train station in the morning.

We will drive you straight to the coldest village in China,Beihong Village -Beihong Village where the winter temperature has reached 58 degrees below zero. It is small, with only a dozen families. Each home has a small yard, and the facilities in the house still maintain the living characteristics of the forest area in the past.

After that, you are going to an ancient tribe -Aoluguya Hunter Village. The Ewenki are the last hunting tribe in China and the oldest people on the grassland. Genhe is a homophone in Mongolian, meaning "clear and transparent river". Aoluguya is the Ewenki language, meaning "a place full of poplar trees". Ewenki means "people who live in the mountains and forests". The folk customs of this ancient people are colorful, and everyone is good at singing and dancing. They have nurtured the reindeer for generations. Here you can get up close to and pet the reindeer while experiencing the life of a hunter.

After visiting the mysterious Aoluguya Hunter Village, your next destination will be the breathtaking Nvjiao Bay. Known for its unique natural landscape and tranquil atmosphere, Nvjiao Bay features a winding river that forms a natural bend resembling the shape of a woman's ankle. Surrounded by dense forests and crystal-clear waters, the bay resembles a picturesque natural painting.

Day 4Beihong Village to Arctic Village

After breakfast, we will drive to the Arctic village -A must and first visit is the North Pole Village. This small village is located at the "top of the rooster's comb" of China, a remote land. In April, even though it is spring in most parts of China, this village is still covered with snow.

Walk in the Shenzhou Arctic Square, see the northernmost post office, bank and the northernmost home in China, and you will find that there are countless "North". Some of these words are written on trees, others are carved on stones. People jokingly say that if you can't find the direction of North, you can come to the North Pole Village, because there is "north" everywhere. In this small village in the northernmost part of China, you may also catch a glimpse of the mysterious Northern Lights.

Day 5Arctic Village train to Harbin

Today we will back to Harbin, say goodbye to the magic Village.

We will pick you up at the hotel and take you to the train station(75kms/1.5hrs).

Then, you will take the train to the Harbin(K7042/15:50-09:42+1).

Day 6Harbin tour

After you finished your breakfast, we will lead you to visit the Sun Island Scenic Area. In summer, it's a great place for escaping the hot weather with cool weather and nice scenery, flowers, lakes and cute animals in the forest. When it comes to winter the island will be covered by thick snow and there will be a world-famous snow sculpture show: International Snow Sculpture Art Expo. There are various of massive, huge snow sculptures which is so impressive and amazing.

Then you will make an safari-style adventure in the Siberian Tiger Park. It is the largest natural park for wild Siberian tigers of China, even in the world. There are over 500 Siberian tigers this park. Here you can see wild tigers closely and take some fantastic photos.

After dinner, you'll embark on a journey to the breathtaking Ice and Snow World, the star attraction of the annual Harbin International Ice and Snow Festival. Operating from around December 23 to late February, with hours spanning from 9:30 to 21:00. You can admire over 2,000 sculptures of ice and snow, illuminated by romantic LED lights.  If you're seeking to immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere to the fullest, you can opt for thrilling activities like sliding down the world's longest slide or trying your hand at other winter sports on ice, such as navigating an ice maze, ice climbing, or skating.

Day 7Harbin Departure

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
