Day 1Zhangjiajie Arrival

Today your flight will touch down in Zhangjiajie. We will meet you at the airport exit with a welcome board. Then a comfortable drive will send you to the local hotel for checking in. The rest of the day is free to explore the city on your own. Rest up and get ready for tomorrow's adventure!

Day 2admire Tianzi Mountain, enjoy Yuanjiajie

This wonderful day will start from visiting magnificent Tianzi Mountain by its cable car, where you will marvel at spectacular wall-like mountain peaks. Tianzi means “son of heaven” and was named for a local farmer who led a successful farmer’s revolt. This area is known as the “Monarch of the Peak Forest” for its elevated position and stunning views.

Next, enjoy yourself in Yuanjiajie by internal park bus for the most iconic Hallelujah Mountains in the famous movie, Avatar, the famous spots are the first bridge in the world, lost-soul platform, and Hallelujah mountain pillar providing panoramic vistas of the stunning Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Then descend from the super Bailong Elevator, the world’s highest and fastest elevator.

After having fun, back to the hotel for overnight stay. Have a good rest!

Day 3have fun in Yellow Dragon Cave, be amazed by the waterfall in Baofeng Lake

Another wonderful day for sightseeing in Zhangjiajie. We will explore the Yellow Dragon Cave. It is an incomparable realm of gigantic subterranean chambers, fantastic cave formations, and extraordinary features. Today many of the wonders of Yellow dragon cave are well known, yet the experience of exploring its chambers is every bit as exciting. The cave remained mystic to local villagers before the first caving adventure took place in 1982. Here, enjoy your sightseeing for 2 hours.

After lunch, we will drive to Baofeng lake, a holy lake in the top of distinctive Zhangjiajie landscape, also known as Water Paradise, is typical scenery of Wulingyuan. Green trees and stone peaks of various shapes surround the lake. we will be stunned by high hanging Baofeng waterfall.

Day 4try Glass Bridge in Grand Canyon, visit the wonderful Tianmen Cave

Start your day after breakfast! A must and first visit is the Zhangjiajie Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, a new scenic magic discovery in Zhangjiajie, become famous for its verdant mount, jaw-dropping skyline of the gorge, pristine water of the stream, become even more famous worldwide for glass bottom bridge spanning over the grand canyon. We have chance to visit glass bottom bridge spanning 430 meters long across 300 meter high breathtaking canyon.

Then turn to Tianmen Mountain (also known as Heaven Gate Mountain) by the longest cable car in the world (7455 meters) and marvel at the stunning 99 hairpin road against the high cliffs. You'll reach the base platform and a long flight of stairs leading up towards the Tianmen Cave – a natural water-eroded cave with the highest elevation in the world! This is known as the 'Heaven Reaching Ladder'. At the western side of the summit, where you can find the newly built Tianmen Temple. Sightseeing for 4 -5hours.

Day 5Zhangjiajie Departure

Always hard to say goodbye to our tourists. Today in the morning, you will say farewell to Zhangjiajie and be transferred to the airport, take the flight back to your sweet home. It has been a great holiday and we look forward to seeing you another China tour!

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
