Kanas Lake Tour with Turpan Adventure

Arrival in Urumqi, our guide will greet you at the airport and transfer to hotel. Urumqi is the capital of the Xinjiang Uighur Autonomous Region, the farthest city from the ocean. It is Mongolian for 'beautiful farm'. Our bilingual tour guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel.

We will drive 1.5 hours to entrance of the Heavenly Lake about 08:30, following is the 40-minutes shuttle bus twisting through the picturesque Tianshan mountains to the edge of the Lake. Either Trek around the lake, enjoy the boating cruise, or even take the cable car to the explore the Maya Mountain for the incredible view of Bogoda Peak.Then we will drive to Fuyun, pass by: Huoshaoshan (Burning Mountain), where you will witness a sea of red, caused by burnt rocks that look as if they are still burning along the hills.

Throw yourself into visiting Keketuohai National Geological Park this morning. Keketuohai National Geological Park is famous for its mines and deposits sites. You will be amazed by the natural scenery consisting of valleys, rivers and mine pit. 

Thereafter, drive to Burqin for 3.5hrs, check in the hotel and have a good rest.

Morning enjoy your nice buffet breakfast at the hotel and today we will drive to Kanas which is the most beautiful mountain lake you have never seen. The lake takes on different colors following the four seasons of the year, sometimes it's crystal blue, sometimes it's dark green, or even gray. you can enjoy the leisure time in Kanas. if the time of last day is not enough, today you will have a chance to walk from the bay to the other one and take a picture.

After the visit, we will drive back to Jiadengyu and transfer to the hotel, Have a good rest.

After breakfast, we’ll take the coach to Hemu village, which is also known as the first village in China, the Scenic Spot is located in Burqin County, Altay District, about 30 kilometres east of Kanas Lake. It is an exquisite and unique wooden house village with a small bridge and magnificent scenery. Meanwhile, you can also experience the unique lifestyle of Tuvas, which is quite worth to visit.

After buffet breakfast in the hotel, then you will take a 4 hours ride to Burqin, enjoy the sunset of Five-colored Beach, Walk into the colorful Beach, you will feel as if in a dream world. The unique lava landscape consisted of purplish red, vandyke red, yellow and light green mudstone, sandstone and gravel. this is the most beautiful colorful Beach, masterpiece of nature, and miracle of Burqin.
In the evening, you can walk around the street in Burqin, enjoy your leisure time and tasty snacks. And we will spend the night in Burqin.

Say farewell to Burqin and drive to the Urho Ghost City, one of the famous yardang landform in China, caused by strong howling wind and erosion. The various strange shapes formed by the wind erosion make you connect them with pagodas, temples, animals, etc.

Continue heading to Karamy. Upon arrival, checking in the hotel and relax with the rest of day.

With an early start today at 08:00. Drive all the way to Oasis Turpan in 7-8hrs.

About 3pm, head up to the Karez Well irrigation system that produce the best melons and grapes in China. Following is the visiting to Sugong Minaret, a conduit for cultural exchange between different ethnic and religious groups. 

Today's tour end up with the 2hrs's exploration of Jiaohe Ruins, resembles Pompei,but 300 years older, a Chinese archaeological site found in the Yarnaz Valley, 10 km west of the city of Turpan and a natural fortress located atop a steep cliff on a leaf-shaped plateau between two deep river valleys where you can experience the way of life of the Uighur ancestors.

Today you will have a full day to explore this fertile oasis. Our first stop is BezkIlik Thousand Buddha Caves located in the center of  Flaming Mountain.Then continue to Tuyoq Valley, an ancient oasis-village. We will have lunch in the local Uighur family before exploring this traditional village surrounded by the impressive grape trellis and the stories of the adventurers all of the world. Following is the visiting to Sugong Minaret, a conduit for cultural exchange between different ethnic and religious groups.

Back to Urumqi and have a good rest,  passing by Salt Lake and the wind power station which is the largest one in Asia spreading at the foot of Tianshan Mountain.

Today you will say goodbye to Urumqi, be transferred based on your flight or train schedule. Wish you a pleasant journey home!
