7 Days Chengdu Tour to Mount Emei and Jiuzhaigou

Today, you will arrive in Chengdu around 13:40, we will pick you up from the airport exit and drive you to downtown hotel check in. After having a short rest, we will start exploring this city from People's Park. The park was built in 1911. It is now a relaxing place for locals. Enjoy the delicacy scenery and appreciate various flower shows. Drink tea at Heming Tea House is a must-do thing for you. Spend your afternoon time with a pot of tea and do nothing but relax.

Later, you will dip into Kuan Zhai Alley, a relatively well-preserved ancient street in Qing Dynasty. It is a famous commercial and cultural pedestrain street in China. There are many delicious food, and you can enjoy your lunch here.

Morning tour at the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (known as Chengdu Panda Base) which is the best possible environment for rearing and breeding. Here, you can explore the daily life of the cute pandas, and see them eating bamboo at their active time. After then, we will drive to Leshan and pay a visit to the Leshan Giant Buddha(include cruise) with the height of 71 meter, sitting at the confluence of three rivers. It is the tallest stone Buddha statue in the world. It was carved on the cliff of Lingyun Mountain in order to suppress the flood. Enjoy spectacular view of the huge statue as you walking down through the narrow staircases to the foot of the Buddha.

Thereafter, we will arrive at Mount Emei in the late afternoon, check in hotel and enjoy walking tour at Baoguo Temple and Fuhu Temple.

Morning we will take the shuttle bus up the mountain to visit the Wannian Temple, walk around the Qingyinge, Yixiantian and Mount Emei Natural Ecology Monkey Area.

Afterwards, take the shuttle bus down the mountain and head to Dujiangyan. Witness the amazing Dujiangyan Irrigation System, which is the great technological achievement of ancient China. For more than 2,300 years of irrigation, Dujiangyan has benefited the local people just as it prevents Min River basin from annual flooding and made the ancient Shu State a famed ‘land of abundance’. This system still plays an indispensable function in agriculture. Then enjoy your time at Nanqiao night market.

After having a delighted breakfast, we are going to our next stop Jiuzhaigou. On the way, stop at Songpan Ancient City, known as Songzhou in ancient times, is located in Jin'an Town, Songpan County, northeast of Aba Prefecture. It was built in the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty. An important station of mutual market". The ancient city of Songpan is ancient and quiet. You can walk or take a rickshaw to walk through the ancient buildings, looking for the traces of time left in this ancient city on the plateau, and feeling the thickness and vicissitudes of the ancient city. You can also climb up the ancient city tower and enjoy the magnificent scenery around you.

Morning full day sightseeing in Jiuzhaigou,a nature reserve in the north of Sichuan. It is known for its many multi- level waterfalls and colorful lakes, and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. It belongs to the category V (Protected Landscape) in the IUCN system of protected area categorization. 

Say farewell to Jiuzhaigou and travel to visit the Huanglong Scenic and Historic Interest Area (Walking up and get off by the cable car), It is the only well protected plateau wetland in China. With the change of the surrounding scenery changes and the angle of the sunlight brings out the colorful color.

After visiting, we will drive to Mao County with the scenery of Tibetan and Qiang along the way.
