Day 1Arrive in Beijing

Welcome to Beijing, China's magnificent capital. Upon your arrival at the airport or train station in Beijing, our professional driver will greet you at the exit and then escort you to a carefully selected hotel in downtown. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. You can relax to overcome jet lag or explore the vicinity of the hotel independently.

Day 2Beijing City Tour to Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven

After breakfast, commence the day's journey by entering the Forbidden City via Tiananmen Square. Traverse along the central axis to explore its magnificent main halls and charming side palaces, which are replete with a vast array of cultural relics. These relics provide a deep and immersive insight into the ancient Chinese history and the opulent imperial lifestyle. Exit through Shenwu Gate and proceed to a neighboring restaurant for lunch, where you can savor the flavors of traditional Beijing cuisine.


Subsequently, make your way to Jingshan Park. Ascend to its vantage points to relish a sweeping panoramic vista of the Forbidden City juxtaposed against the modern cityscape. The stark contrast between the time-honored palace complex and the contemporary urban sprawl presents a truly captivating spectacle.

 

Finally, journey to the Temple of Heaven. Pay a visit to the iconic Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and other remarkable attractions that flaunt their unique architectural styles and bear testimony to ancient religious convictions. Day 3Beijing City Tour to Mutianyu Great Wall and Olympic Park

In the morning, after having breakfast, set off by car for the Mutianyu Great Wall. Upon arrival, you have the option to take a cable car or chairlift to ascend onto the wall. Once atop the wall, you will be astounded by the magnificent vista of the unending mountains and the ancient Great Wall that extends as far as the eye can reach. Stroll along the well-preserved section of the wall, sense the historical imprints beneath your feet, and relish the fresh air and the beautiful scenery. There are also several watchtowers where you can halt and snap some pictures, while envisioning the scenes of ancient soldiers safeguarding the frontier.

 

In the afternoon, drive to the vicinity of the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and the Water Cube (National Aquatics Center). After reaching the destination, We will see the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube from outside. The Bird's Nest is an emblematic structure of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, epitomizing the advanced echelons of modern architecture and engineering. You can capture images from diverse perspectives to document this extraordinary edifice. The Water Cube is renowned for hosting the swimming and diving competitions during the Olympics and has since evolved into a favored tourist destination and a symbol of modern sports architecture.

Day 4Beijing-Xi'an City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, take a high-speed rail to Xi'an and commence this thrilling one-day excursion.Begin with a visit to the Xi'an Museum. It boasts a copious collection of historical relics that lucidly present Xi'an's protracted and splendid history spanning from antiquity to the present. The exhibits encompass pottery, bronze artifacts, calligraphy, paintings, and numerous other valuable pieces, affording a profound comprehension of the cultural and artistic attainments of diverse epochs.


Proceed to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. This ancient pagoda, with its graceful and stately mien, serves as an exemplary specimen of Buddhist architecture. Standing adjacent to it, one can sense the placid and serene ambiance of the ancient religious setting. The surrounding gardens and scenery are equally charming, constituting an ideal spot for unwinding and snapping photos.


Next, head for the Xi'an City Wall. You can either stroll or hire a bicycle atop the wall to relish a panoramic vista of the city. Day 5Xi'an City tour to Terra-cotta Warriors,Tang Everbright City

After breakfast at the hotel, start an exceptional day by delving into the renowned Terra-cotta Warriors. This archaeological treasure epitomizes ancient Chinese artistry and military might. Once inside, you'll be astonished by the multitude of life-sized terracotta warriors, each with a unique countenance and elaborate armor, arranged in battle formation as if frozen in time. The pits offer a glimpse into the funerary customs and extraordinary craftsmanship of the Qin Dynasty. If feasible, climb up for a panoramic view of the city. Inside, discover Buddhist relics and scriptures that enhance the spiritual and historical ambiance.

 

In the evening, head to Tang Everbright City. It becomes a sensory extravaganza as night descends and the area is illuminated by a magnificent display of lights. The street, flanked by towering replicas of ancient Chinese architecture, bustles with vivid neon and traditional lanterns, bathing the whole district in a warm and inviting glow. Then return to the hotel for a good rest.

Day 6Xi'an-chengdu City Tour

After breakfast at the hotel, take a high-speed rail from Xi'an to Chengdu and commence a delightful exploration of this captivating city.Begin with a visit to Kuanzhai Alley, a renowned historical and cultural district comprising wide and narrow lanes. The traditional Sichuan-style architecture, with its wooden doors and windows, gray tiles and white walls, emanates a strong sense of ancient charm. As you stroll along the alleys, you'll encounter a variety of unique shops selling local handicrafts, antiques, and traditional Sichuan snacks. Sample some delicious bites like small-portioned spicy hot pot and mapo tofu to experience the distinct flavor of Sichuan cuisine.

 

Next, proceed to the People's Park. It's a favored gathering spot for locals, featuring beautiful natural scenery with lush trees, blooming flowers, and clear ponds. There are numerous pavilions and corridors for people to relax and chat. The highlight is the traditional teahouse culture. Join the locals in a teahouse, sip tea while enjoying performances such as Sichuan opera face-changing or other traditional art shows. It's an excellent chance to immerse yourself in the local culture and interact with the amiable people of Chengdu.

Day 7Chengdu City Tour to Giant Panda Base and Sanxingdui Museum

Start this thrilling day by visiting the Giant Panda Base. Here, you can witness the adorable pandas munching on bamboo, frolicking, or scaling in a natural habitat. The base is dedicated to panda preservation and research. You'll gain insights into their behaviors and conservation initiatives. Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.

1. 4 to 15 pax in a group (4 pax min, 15 pax max)

2. Typically we will take 600 USD per person as deposit when you book the trip (You can pay the deposit through WeChat/Alipay/bank transfer.)

Our cancellation policies are very friendly.

If you have to cancel your trip for some unexpected reasons, we have the following policies:
1. FULL REFUND at least 15 days before departure date. (Note: except the cost of service fees paid for the third party, such as trains, hotels,transportation etc)

2. FULL REFUND if there is no flight and train to arrive resulted from extreme weather or government restrictions.

If the trip is cancelled due to severe weather conditions or any government restriction, full refund will be offered.
