Day 1Beijing Arrival

Welcome to Beijing, the majestic capital of China. It gathers the outstanding traditional cultural achievements of China since the Yuan, Ming, and Qing dynasties. Upon your arrival, prepare to be immersed in the genuine essence of Chinese culture.

Our seasoned driver will pick you up at the airport/train station based on your flight schedule, and assist you with downtown hotel check in. The rest of the time you can freely explore this city.

Day 2Beijing City Tour, Tian'an Men Square & Forbidden City

Meet your local guide this morning and embark on your first day of the journey. We will enjoy an exhilarating walking tour at Tian'anmen Square, a place that not only the spiritual symbol of China, but also a quintessential example of Chinese traditional architecture.

After that, pay a visit to the world heritage Forbidden City, which was established on the basis of the Ming and Qing imperial palaces and their collections. Forbidden City preserves approximately 9,000 ancient buildings, making it the largest and best-preserved ancient palace architectural complex in China. It is also the largest museum of ancient Chinese art and culture.

Upon existing from the Forbidden city, we shall proceed to Jingshan Park. This was once an important place for the Qing emperors to pay homage and reminisce about their ancestors, from where we can also enjoy the panoramic view of Forbidden City.

Another must-see place when you're in Beijing is the Temple of Heaven, It mainly consists of four ancient architectural complexes: the "Prayer for Grain Altar" for spring harvests,  "the Round Hill Altar" for winter solstice worship, the "Zhai Palace" for imperial residence before worship, and the "Shenle Hall" for sacrificial rites and music.

Day 3Mutianyu Great Wall Sightseeing

We will leave early in the morning and transfer to visit Mutianyu section of the Great Wall. The Mutianyu Great Wall is 5400 meters long and is the longest Great Wall in China. It includes 20 enemy towers, which are densely packed, sturdy, and spectacular. Since the reconstruction of the Mutianyu Great Wall in the early Ming Dynasty, it has become a strong and tall protective wall against foreign invasion of Beijing. [5400 meters only refers to the length of the Great Wall that is open to tourists in the scenic area. The complete part of the Mutianyu Great Wall is over ten kilometers long.]

Kindly reminder:

* There will be many steps here, please wear comfortable and low-heeled shoes.

* If you're unable to climb the steps, you have the option of taking the cable car up to the mountain.

As the day winds down, We will make our way back to downtown in the late afternoon. Along the way, passing by two main large sports venues of Olympic Park—the Bird's Nest and Water Cube, where you can take some nice photos.

Day 4High Speed Train to Xi'an, Visit Xi'an Museum and Ancient City Wall

Continue your adventure in China with a high-speed train trip to Xi'an. When you arrival, a local guide and driver will greet you at the train station with a welcome sign.

Our journey begin at Xi'an Museum, which comprises three sections: Museum, Jianfu Temple and Small Goose Pagoda. The museum has a collection of 130000 cultural relics from various historical periods in Xi'an, including more than 14400 precious cultural relics of national level three or above, and numerous artifacts unearthed from significant Chinese dynasties such as the Zhou, Qin, Han, and Tang.

Walking along the Ancient City Wall, one of China's best-preserved city wall with a 600-year history from the Ming Dynasty. Constructed for the protection of the city, this ancient wall stands as a testament to the era's defensive architecture.

Optional Activity: For those interested, cycling on the city wall is an experience not to be missed.

In the evening, savor your leisure time in the Muslim Quarter. This renowned food district combines traditional Chinese architectural styles with Muslim influences. As a food enthusiast, you are sure to fall in love with this place.

Day 5World Heritage Terracotta Warriors, Tang Dynasty Never Nights City

As the starting point of Silk Road, Xi'an is home to numerous historical sites. Today, we will visit Terracotta Warriors, one of the word's eighth wonders. The site consists of three pits, spanning an area of more than 20000 square meters. There are about 8000 pottery chariots and horses, terracotta warriors, and about 10000 practical weapons. Upon your presence, you will be amazed by the ancient Chinese sculpture art in Qin Dynasty.

Another famous historical relic in Xi'an is the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, which we are going to visit next. This tower was built by the renowned monk Xuanzang to store Buddhist scriptures, statues, and relics brought back from India. With a history spanning approximately 1372 years, it stands as a landmark in Xi'an and an emblematic symbol of Chinese Buddhist culture.

Walk through the lively pedestrian street of the Tang Dynasty Never Nights City, featuring Tang-style architectural complexes. Enjoy exciting street performances, experience the prosperity of ancient markets, and savor authentic Xi'an snacks.

Day 6Train to Shanghai, Free exploration

We will depart from Xi'an to Shanghai by train this morning. The journey is expected to take about 6-7hrs, you can prepare some of your favorite snacks the day before.

When arrival, you can enjoy a leisurely afternoon in Shanghai. Consider some free-time shopping, sipping a cup of coffee, or taking a relaxing stroll through the city's alleyways.

Day 7City Tour to Shanghai Tower, Yu Garden

Explore modern Shanghai in a full day. We will start with a visit to Yu Garden. It is a private garden from the Ming Dynasty with a history of over 450 years. Yu Garden harmoniously blends the artistic styles of both the Ming and Qing dynasties, showcasing the quintessential Jiangnan garden aesthetic.

Then we're going to Shanghai Tower, which is a giant high-rise landmark skyscraper in Shanghai, it stands as the tallest building in China and the third tallest building in the world. Today we will ascend to the 118 floor to enjoy the breathtaking vistas of Shanghai.

Experience the vibrant atmosphere of Shanghai In the late afternoon as you stroll along Nanjing Road Walkway, the most prosperous commercial street in Shanghai, is also one of the classic landmarks of Shanghai. It is a paradise for shoppers, with a large number of modern malls and famous specialty shops. Afterward, immerse yourself in the delightful night scenery at the Bund.

  • If you have to cancel your trip for some unexpected reasons, we have the following policies:
    1. FULL REFUND at least 15 days before departure date. (Note: except the cost of service fees paid for the third party, such as trains, hotels,transportation etc)2. FULL REFUND if there is no flight and train to arrive resulted from extreme weather or government restrictions.

  • If the trip is cancelled due to severe weather conditions or any government restriction, full refund will be offered.
