Taimu Mountain is a scenic tourist resort located in Fuding City, northeast of Fujian Province. Sightseeing Areas in Taimu Mountain
Taimu Mountain
Taimu Mountain covers an area of 24.6 square kilometers, and the peaks are between 500 meters and 1,000 meters high. Taimu Mountain with steep mountains, granite caves, odd-shaped stones, and magic fog is known far and wide and has the "sea fairy capital" reputation. There are more than 100 granite caves scattered on the mountain, of which Cucurbit Cave, General Cave and One-Line-Sky are the most attractive. Standing on the top of the peak overlooking the East China Sea, you can see the islands offshore and the bay at the foot of the mountain.
Nine Carps Stream and Waterfall
Located in the southwest of Taimu Mountain Yuejing area, with an area of 25 square kilometers, the main stream is 25 kilometers long, collecting 13 tributaries. There are green mountains and trees on both sides of the stream. Visitors can take a bamboo raft and drift down the river to enjoy a relaxing rafting trip. At the end of the drift in Dutou Village, there are two natural maple trees with an area of 250 mu and an ancient banyan forest in the world's northernmost latitude.
Sunny Plain and Seashore（Qingchuan Seashore)
Located at the foot of Taimu Mountain, it is composed of beaches and islands distributed in the Qingchuan Bay and Tiaowei Bay sea area, with a sea area of about 40 square kilometers (of which the scenic area is 25 square kilometers). It is an ideal place for sailboard, swimming, rowing, fishing, and other activities. It is also a good place for beach tourism to stroll on sands and collect shells,and you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset at sea and the rising and falling tides.
Mulberry Garden and Crystal Green Lake （Sangcui Lake）
Mulberry Garden and Crystal Green Lake boasts an intact ecology with unique resources. The lake covers a water area of more than 4000 mu and naturally accommodates blackfish, bass, silver carp, grass carp, common carp, and other economic fish. Additionally, the lake is home to several islands with lush bamboo and abundant bird and flower species, making it an ideal spot for leisure fishing and tourism.
Fuyao Islands
Fuyao Islands includes Dayu Mountain, Xiaoyu Mountain, Yuanyang Island, Bird Island, Yinyu, and other 11 islands, an area of 24.5 square kilometers. Dayu Mountain Island is the largest island in the east of Fujian Province. At 200 meters above sea level on the island, there are Big Sky Lake and Small Sky Lake, which are full of clear water. Lengcheng Ancient Castle
The Cold Castle was built between 1522 and 1566 to defend against enemies. The castle is a circular and masonry structure that encircles the village. There are three gates, the east gate, the west gate, and the south gate, which are well preserved. There are also some ancient and revolutionary sites in the village.
Ruiyun Temple
The layout structure of the Ruiyun Temple is garden-style, breaking the conventional symmetry of the central axis like other temples in China. There are Grand Hall, Bell and Drum Tower, Plum Pavilion, Fish-watching Platform, Half Moon Lake and Lotus Lake, etc. The long corridor in the courtyard connects, which is more than 50 meters long.
