Day 1Guangzhou Arrival

Welcome to Guangzhou, the capital city of Guandong Province in the south of China as well as the pivoty of maritime silk road. There are aboundant fabulous natural sceneries, vivid regional bulidings reflecting historical cultures, and famous cantonese cuisine. All these things are worth for you to visit.


Upon arrival, you will pick up and transfer to check  in the hotel. Relax and have a good rest for your tomorrow's travel.

Day 2Guangzhou City Exploration

Morning after delighted buffet at hotel, today's tour begin with Museum of Nanyue King located on Jiefang Bei Road, is the oldest and largest Han tomb with the most funerary objects in Lingnan Area. As one of the 80 famous museums in the world, it covers 14,000 square meters (150, 699.6 square feet) with 10 exhibition halls. 

 

Pay a visit to the Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, a place both for offering up sacrifices to ancestors and for study. Afterwards, we will head to visit Shamian Island, which used to be the British and French concession, with beautiful Western style architecture.

 

As the landmark of Guangzhou, the Canton Tower (Guangzhou Tower) lies at the south bank of the Pearl River. From the top, visitors have a birds-eye view of the whole city.

Day 3Downtown Hotel Pickup + Train to Yangshuo

Meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby, then you will be transferred to the train station and take the train to Yangshuo. Upon arrival, check in the hotel and the rest of day is for you to explore. Take a local boat along the picturesque Li River, or wander around the West Street in the evening where you can purchase different souvenirs.

Day 4Full-day Yangshuo Exploration

Today you will enjoy a full day excursion of Yangshuo. Enjoy the boating cruise from Guilin to Yangshuo.  

The beauty of nature is displayed in Yangshuo County. This place offers a chance to escape from the often frenetic pace of sightseeing, to slow down and take in the spectacular scenery of the numerous, other-worldly limestone peaks, against the background of the Yulong River. You can walk along the rivers banks in places, take bike rides through the villages, watch the local fishermen on their bamboo rafts, or climb Moon Hill and view the 50-metre hole on its top, and more.

Day 5Drive to Guilin (80 kms), Departure

After delighted buffet, drive to Guilin. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to airport/train. End tour.

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
