7 Days Guizhou Tour to Guiyang, Bijie, Libo, and Congjiang

Arrive in Guiyang and take the coach to stroll around the Guiyang city.

Embark on a journey of discovery on the second day of your trip, as we drive towards Bijie to immerse ourselves in the spectacular splendor of the Azaleas. The Bijie Rhododendron Scenic Area awaits, promising a visual feast that will leave you breathless.

Bijie Rhododendron Scenic Area is a 5A-rated national forest park. With a total area of 125.8 square kilometers, it boasts a blooming season for its namesake azaleas between March and May. Visiting during this period, you will be able to witness millions of azaleas of various colors covering the park, and understand why it is dubbed "The World's Largest Natural Garden."

After spending a delightful morning exploring the Azaleas, we will begin our journey back to Guiyang.

Early in the morning, we will board a fast train bound for Libo to visit Xiaoqikong Scenic Area and Daqikong Scenic Area. Xiaoqikong Scenic Area boasts a diverse range of natural features, including mountains, rivers, forests, caves, lakes, and waterfalls, all seamlessly integrated to create a serene and enchanting landscape. The highlight of the area is undoubtedly the Seven Small Arches Bridge, an ancient stone bridge that spans the scenic river, adding a touch of historical charm to the natural beauty. 

After a fulfilling day of exploration and discovery at Xiaoqikong, we will board a fast train back to Guiyang.

After breakfast, we will board a fast train heading to Zhaoxing to visit the charming Zhaoxing Dong Village. This traditional Dong ethnic village is known for its unique architecture, rich cultural heritage, and warm hospitality. As you step into the village, you will be greeted by the distinctive wooden buildings, intricate carvings, and beautiful landscapes that surround the area.

After exploring Zhaoxing Dong Village, guests will board a coach to Congjiang to visit the spectacular Tang'an Terraces. These terraces, carved into the hillsides, are not only an agricultural wonder but also a testament to the ingenuity and hard work of the local people. Standing atop the terraces, you will be able to appreciate the breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside.

Today, we will embark on a drive to visit two enchanting villages: the Xijiang Miao Village and the Huanggang Dong Village. These villages are nestled in the heart of Guizhou's lush countryside, offering a unique glimpse into the rich cultural heritage and traditional lifestyles of the indigenous ethnic groups.

First, you will travel to Huanggang Dong Village. As you arrive, you will be greeted by the stunning architecture and serene atmosphere of this charming village. Here, you will have the chance to admire the beautiful Dong-style wooden buildings, stroll through the narrow alleyways, and observe the locals engaging in their daily activities. You can also learn about the Dong people's traditions, customs, and way of life through engaging conversations with the friendly locals.

After a fulfilling visit to Huanggang Dong Village, you will continue your journey to Xijiang Miao Village. This vibrant village is known for its vibrant culture, traditional crafts, and welcoming atmosphere. Here, you will be able to explore the charming streets, admire the intricate silver jewelry craftsmanship, and participate in traditional Miao cultural activities. You can also taste authentic Miao cuisine and enjoy the lively atmosphere of the village as you interact with the locals.

As the day comes to an end, you will board a fast train back to Guiyang.

Today we will drive nearly two hours to visit Huangguoshu Waterfall. The Huangguoshu Waterfall Scenic Spot is a comprehensive tourist resort that includes waterfalls, caves, stone forests, canyons, and other landscapes. The area boasts majestic mountains, dense vegetation, and crystal-clear streams. Covering a vast area, it includes attractions such as the Huangguoshu Waterfall, Tianxingqiao Scenic Area, Doupotang Scenic Area, and others. The main highlight is the Huangguoshu Waterfall, which cascades from the cliffs with a thunderous noise and creates a brilliant rainbow in the sunshine, making it a breathtaking sight.

After taking in the breathtaking views and capturing some memorable photos, you will make your way back to Guiyang. 

Today is the last day of the trip. Before leaving, we will first drive to Qingyan Ancient Town for a visit. Qingyan Ancient Town boasts well-preserved city walls, upon which towering stones stand sentinel. The town has four gates: the East Gate, the West Gate, the South Gate, and the North Gate. One of the highlights of the town is the exquisite craftsmanship displayed in the stone and wood carvings found in its buildings. The intricate details of these carvings add aesthetic charm to this small town.

After that, we will return to the downtown area of Guiyang, and we will drop you off at the airport.
