Day 1Terracotta Warriors & Big Wild Goose Pagoda & Old Muslim Quater

As the night falls, you will arrive in the ancient capital of Xi'an at the paeceful hour of 1:30am. Uopn your arrival, we will greet you and escort you to a cozy hotel to ansure a smooth check-in. As the dawn break, you will enjoy an authentic Xi'an breakfast, marking the begining of a journy through thousands of years of history.

First, we will take you to explore the awe-inspiring Terracotta Warriors. Standing before this vast underground army, you will be amazed by the exquisite craftsmanship of the ancient artisans, almost as if you can hear the sounds of clashing swords and horses from a thousand years ago. Then, we will ascend the majestic Big Wild Goose Pagoda, where you can overlook the breathtaking views of the entire city, listen to the melodious echo of the ancient temple bells, and feel the weight and vicissitudes of history.

Finally, we will lead you through the bustling Old Muslim Quater. Here, you will find a variety of Xi'an's delicacies and handicrafts. Early in the morning, the sunlight peeked through the curtains, waking us up to a new day. After a hearty breakfast at the hotel, we will drive to the historical and cultural city of Datong. There, a journey filled with ancient charm awaits us. First, we will visit the historic Wooden Pagoda, standing tall through the ages as if narrating tales of a thousand years. Each layer of the pagoda is adorned with exquisite carvings, leaving one in awe of the wisdom and craftsmanship of the ancients.

Next, we will head to the Hanging Temple, a temple suspended on a cliff. The unique architectural style and geographical location of this temple are truly breathtaking. Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
