Today we will visit the Tianshan Tianchi Lake (天池）also called Heavenly Lake in English which is a high mountain lake. It is listed in the UNESCO for the magnificent Landscape.

Your private day tour to heavenly lake continue with the driving of 1.5 hours to entrance of the Heavenly Lake, following is the 40-minutes shuttle bus twisting through the picturesque Tianshan mountains to the edge of the Lake. Either Trek around the lake, enjoy the boat riding cruise, or even take the cable car to the explore further to the Maya Mountain for the incredible view of Bogoda Peak.
Travel Tips, in an effort to enjoy the very best experience in the park, please bring some snacks for simple lunch. You can have late lunch in the Yurt of local Kazakhs where you can experience the traditional nomadic life in present Xinjiang. You will be back to the hotel around 18:00.
Romantice Story of Heavenly Lake. As if the natural beauty of Heavenly Lake were not enough, legend adds a mysterious touch. It is said that the West Queen fell in love with the king and asked him in her poem, 'The white clouds drift while the mountains reach the blue sky. Passing thousands of mountains, crossing ten thousands of rivers, you come to us from a faraway place. If you are still strong and fine, would you like to come back to us again?' The king answered in his poem, 'After I go back to central China and lead the people to a prosperous life, I will come to you again.' We do not know why the king never returned. Only the placid lake and the silent mountains witnessed the lovesickness of the West Queen.
