The Stone Forest
Among them, the most famous is the "Big Stone Forest", which is composed of dense bluish-gray stone peaks, dominated by mighty and majestic stone peaks, of which the highest independent rock column is more than 40 meters high, the largest stone forest, is also the most worth visiting scenic spots. Many punch points converge in the big stone forest scenic area. If you are departing from Kunming Changshui International Airport, you can take the airport bus or taxi to Kunming South Railway Station in downtown Kunming, and then take the high-speed train from Kunming South Railway Station to Shilin.
High-speed rail:
You can take the high-speed train from Kunming South Railway Station to Shilin. The high-speed train from Kunming South Railway Station arrives directly at Shilin Station, which takes about 1.5 hours. At Shilin Station, you can take a taxi or bus to the Shilin Scenic Area.
Coach:
You can take the coach to Shilin from the bus station in Kunming city. This mode of transportation is relatively cheap, but the drive is longer, taking about 2-3 hours.
Self-driving car:
You can drive to the Stone Forest Scenic Spot. From Kunming, it takes about 2-3 hours to drive along the Kunming-Shilin Expressway (G56).
