5 Days Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang Tour

Today your flight will touch down in Zhangjiajie, we will meet you at the airport exit with a welcome board and then transfer to the local hotel check in. The rest of the day is free for you to explore this city.

Today, after breakfast, you will be met by our guide and driver and then driven to start your exciting visit to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.

We will explore the famous Golden Whip Stream deep in the valley. This totally 7.5 kilometers long brook is one of the most beautiful places in the whole forest park area. Take an inspiring roam along the whispering pristine water on the paved path to immerse into tranquil wonderland with fresh air, colorful blooming flowers in different seasons, lush vegetation, etc. and be prepared to encounter with some wild monkeys.

Then go to challenge Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, the longest and highest Glass Bridge in the world. Walk past the bridge and appreciate the grand view of the beautiful Canyon.

On this day, after breakfast, visit Wulingyuan to get more highlights. First take a sightseeing bus to experience Bailong Elevator, the fastest elevator and also the tallest outdoor elevator in the world. Enjoy the 1.5 minutes to be shot from the valley bottom up to the pillar peak. 

And then, hike amongst the multiple erupting stone columns at Yuanjiajie Scenic Area and open the mysterious "Pandora World". During the exciting hike, get a good preparation to have an enviable look at the South Sky Pillar, the authentic prototype inspiring the "Avatar Hallelujah Mountain"; closely watch the peculiar First Bridge of the World that is naturally made with an only 5-meter long stone platform linking the two peaks together to form the rare world wonder.

Then, we will continue to take a battery car to Tianzi Mountain Nature Reserve which mainly includes grand valleys, mountains and forests, as well as various animals. The mountain is always enjoying the reputation as "the king of all mountains". Tianzi Mountain is known for 4 natural spectacles – the clouds of mist that circle the peaks of the mountain, the amazing views of the rising sun, the moonlit nights and snowcapped winter peaks.

After the exciting scenic visit, our guide and driver will escort you to Zhangjiajie downtown area for accommodation.

In the morning we will make a great trip to Tianmen Mountain, another magnificent national forest park in Zhangjiajie City, known as the most beautiful "Hanging Garden" in the world. Here, hold your breath to take two scary walks on the cliff path circling the mountain body. One is the transparent Glass Skywalk with, while the other is the Ghost-Valley Plank Road hanging on the cliff. 

After that, we will visit Tianmen Cave to see the giant hole on the mountain. This cave is really a rare wonder of the world. Next, walk downstairs along the super steep 999-steps with the highest inclination up to 45°, which is the only access to Tianmen Cave from the foot of the mountain for a lot of prayers worshipping there.  

Then, we will drive you to Fenghuang for overnight stay. Have a good rest.

In this morning, relax yourself in the romantic Phoenix Ancient Town (Fenghuang Ancient Town) in the morning. Praised as the most beautiful tiny town in China, it sets an example of what villages were like before the start of modernization. In the town dozens of lanes are paved with stones that run between the wooden houses built on stilts. Generations of local people have stepped on the lanes and worn them down bit by bit.

Phoenix Ancient Town offers a totally different day views which would really bring you back to ancient time. Have a slow walk and feel the calmness and zen of this beautiful place. Take a small boat ride on the Tuojiang River passing through the most essence part of the old town (from Beimen Pier to Longevity Palace) to imagine what life was going in the past. 

After that, we will drive back to Zhangjiajie, upon arrival, we will transfer you to the airport to catch your flight back to your sweet home! Wish you a pleasant journey home！
