Yunnan Photography Tour via Three Parallel Rivers

Today your flight will touch down in Lijiang, when you arrive at Xining you can meet your driver at the Airport, and then your driver will take you to the hotel to relax. Trip description meeting will be on 17:00p.m., shooting of Sifang Street in the ancient city of Lijiang and Waterwheel

From Lijiang, you'll drive about 60KM to the First Bend on the Yangtze River with imposing gorge scenery, photograph the Yulong Snow Mountain and Lashi Lake. After that, visit the Iron Chain Bridge, the Red Army's Long March Memorial Monument in the Shigu Old Town. The town of Stone Drum got its name from a large, cylindrical, marble tablet shaped like a drum. The scenery is magnificent as the road running through the Lijiang valley which is filled with wheat fields and drying haystacks. 

In the morning, pay a visit to Tacheng Black Snub-Nosed Monkey National Park of Weixi County. Watch the feeding of the snub-nosed monkey in the park. Then we will drive to Cizhong, on the way to visit the famous Lisu village in Tongle. The Susu people in Tongle village first lived in Jinsha River Basin, which is the border of Sichuan and Yunnan, and then gradually moved to Nujiang area in western Yunnan to settle down. Tongle village is the most primitive village in Yunnan. All the dwellings are made of wood, including tiles, which are made of wood.

Morning we will photograph Cizhong Catholic Church, which was first constructed in 1909 and became the major church of Yunnan Parish after its completion. In 1987, it was listed as a key protected cultural relic site of Yunnan Province. After that, we will transfer to the Feilaisi, on the way, we shot Ninong Gorge, Lancang River Grand Canyon, Yanmen Market and the White Pagoda at the starting point of Meili Zhuanshan mountain. Visit the important town of ancient tea horse road.

Arrive in Feilaisi in the late afternoon, you will have a nice sunset view of Meili Snow Mountain from the Sightseeing Platform, where you can see the 13 white pagodas meaning of the 13 peaks of Meili Snow Mountain over 6,000 meters (19,685 feet) above sea level, known as the “Prince's 13 peaks”.

Morning after breakfast, depar from Feilaisi we will transfer to next stop Shangri-La, through Baimang Snow Mountain Nature Reserve. You will be able to view Baimang Snow Mountain if the weather is clear, pass the top part of today at 4292m altitude at 156km. and view of Baima (white horse) Snow Mountain. The view along the way is fantastic with different kinds of trees, streams down the valley, prayer flags and stupas, and Tibetan villages.

Morning pick you up at the hotel. Then drive to visit Songzanlin Monastery and then photograph the local Tibetan village and family around the monastery. In the afternoon, transfer to visit Napa Lake, the verdant grasses sprawl on the earth like a greenish felt, flocks and herds here and there leisurely eating grasses on Napahai Lake.You find they mix with each other, and a flower of life is in blossom. In the west stand three snow mountains, they are not only a part of charming scene of southwest China, but also sign of tremendous vitality. Afterwards, we will transfer to next stop Dali for overnight stay.

In the morning, explore Dali Old Town including the Foreigner Street, the Ancient City Wall of Dali and The Gate Tower. In the afternoon, transfer to Xizhou Old Town. Walk around this old town to see Bai ethnic traditional archetecture. Taste local three-course tea in Xizhou. After that, drive to Zhoucheng Village. Pay a visit to local Tie-Dyeing workshop. Transfer to Lijiang for overnight stay.

Morning depart from the hotel, we will pay a visit to Erhai Lake, cruise in the lake by the small boat to the Jinsuo Islet in the east Erhai Lake. There are 200 Bai ethnic families around 1000 people in Jinsuo Island. In Erhai Lake cruise, you will enjoy the green Cangshan Mountain and the Three Pagodas from a far as well as lots of birds and seagulls flying over the lake. Cangshan Mountain is a high mountain rising above the city of Dali in the southern province of Yunnan that borders Vietnam. It is a scenic spot and a good hiking area where hikers may bring tents. It is said that the snow will not melt even in the hottest days of summer. After photographing, we will drive back to Lijiang, upon arrival, take you to the hotel and check in.
