Welcome to Beijing, China's magnificent capital. Upon your arrival at the airport or train station in Beijing, our professional driver will greet you at the exit and then escort you to a carefully selected hotel in downtown. The remainder of the day is at your leisure. You can relax to overcome jet lag or explore the vicinity of the hotel independently.
After breakfast, commence the day's journey by entering the Forbidden City via Tiananmen Square. Traverse along the central axis to explore its magnificent main halls and charming side palaces, which are replete with a vast array of cultural relics. These relics provide a deep and immersive insight into the ancient Chinese history and the opulent imperial lifestyle. Exit through Shenwu Gate and proceed to a neighboring restaurant for lunch, where you can savor the flavors of traditional Beijing cuisine.
Subsequently, make your way to Jingshan Park. Ascend to its vantage points to relish a sweeping panoramic vista of the Forbidden City juxtaposed against the modern cityscape. The stark contrast between the time-honored palace complex and the contemporary urban sprawl presents a truly captivating spectacle.
Finally, journey to the Temple of Heaven. Pay a visit to the iconic Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests and other remarkable attractions that flaunt their unique architectural styles and bear testimony to ancient religious convictions. Conclude the tour by taking a leisurely stroll around the idyllic gardens and meandering corridors of the Temple of Heaven before making your way back.
In the morning, after having breakfast, set off by car for the Mutianyu Great Wall. Upon arrival, you have the option to take a cable car or chairlift to ascend onto the wall. Once atop the wall, you will be astounded by the magnificent vista of the unending mountains and the ancient Great Wall that extends as far as the eye can reach. Stroll along the well-preserved section of the wall, sense the historical imprints beneath your feet, and relish the fresh air and the beautiful scenery. There are also several watchtowers where you can halt and snap some pictures, while envisioning the scenes of ancient soldiers safeguarding the frontier.
In the afternoon, drive to the vicinity of the Bird's Nest (National Stadium) and the Water Cube (National Aquatics Center). After reaching the destination, We will see the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube from outside. The Bird's Nest is an emblematic structure of the 2008 Beijing Olympics, epitomizing the advanced echelons of modern architecture and engineering. You can capture images from diverse perspectives to document this extraordinary edifice. The Water Cube is renowned for hosting the swimming and diving competitions during the Olympics and has since evolved into a favored tourist destination and a symbol of modern sports architecture.
After breakfast at the hotel, take a high-speed rail to Xi'an and commence this thrilling one-day excursion.Begin with a visit to the Xi'an Museum. It boasts a copious collection of historical relics that lucidly present Xi'an's protracted and splendid history spanning from antiquity to the present. The exhibits encompass pottery, bronze artifacts, calligraphy, paintings, and numerous other valuable pieces, affording a profound comprehension of the cultural and artistic attainments of diverse epochs.
Proceed to the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. This ancient pagoda, with its graceful and stately mien, serves as an exemplary specimen of Buddhist architecture. Standing adjacent to it, one can sense the placid and serene ambiance of the ancient religious setting. The surrounding gardens and scenery are equally charming, constituting an ideal spot for unwinding and snapping photos.
Next, head for the Xi'an City Wall. You can either stroll or hire a bicycle atop the wall to relish a panoramic vista of the city. The city wall is a remarkable historical vestige mirroring the ancient city's layout and defense mechanism. As you circumnavigate, you can behold the modern urban panorama within and without the wall, savoring the singular juxtaposition of the archaic and the contemporary.
Conclude the journey at the Muslim Quarter. The narrow lanes are thronged with a diverse range of local snacks, handicrafts, and traditional emporiums. Here, you can sample delectable Xi'an delicacies like roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) and yangrou paomo (lamb soup with shredded bread), while reveling in the vibrant and animated market milieu. Lose yourself in the inimitable ethnic and cultural allure of the Muslim community and partake in the rich and variegated folkways of Xi'an.
After breakfast at the hotel, start an exceptional day by delving into the renowned Terra-cotta Warriors. This archaeological treasure epitomizes ancient Chinese artistry and military might. Once inside, you'll be astonished by the multitude of life-sized terracotta warriors, each with a unique countenance and elaborate armor, arranged in battle formation as if frozen in time. The pits offer a glimpse into the funerary customs and extraordinary craftsmanship of the Qin Dynasty. Stroll around, learning about the discovery and restoration, and marvel at its historical significance.
Next, make your way to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda. This iconic Buddhist pagoda represents Xi'an and its abundant religious and cultural heritage. If feasible, climb up for a panoramic view of the city. Inside, discover Buddhist relics and scriptures that enhance the spiritual and historical ambiance.
In the evening, head to Tang Everbright City. It becomes a sensory extravaganza as night descends and the area is illuminated by a magnificent display of lights. The street, flanked by towering replicas of ancient Chinese architecture, bustles with vivid neon and traditional lanterns, bathing the whole district in a warm and inviting glow. Then return to the hotel for a good rest.
After breakfast at the hotel, take a high-speed rail from Xi'an to Chengdu and commence a delightful exploration of this captivating city.Begin with a visit to Kuanzhai Alley, a renowned historical and cultural district comprising wide and narrow lanes. The traditional Sichuan-style architecture, with its wooden doors and windows, gray tiles and white walls, emanates a strong sense of ancient charm. As you stroll along the alleys, you'll encounter a variety of unique shops selling local handicrafts, antiques, and traditional Sichuan snacks. Sample some delicious bites like small-portioned spicy hot pot and mapo tofu to experience the distinct flavor of Sichuan cuisine.
Next, proceed to the People's Park. It's a favored gathering spot for locals, featuring beautiful natural scenery with lush trees, blooming flowers, and clear ponds. There are numerous pavilions and corridors for people to relax and chat. The highlight is the traditional teahouse culture. Join the locals in a teahouse, sip tea while enjoying performances such as Sichuan opera face-changing or other traditional art shows. It's an excellent chance to immerse yourself in the local culture and interact with the amiable people of Chengdu.
Notes:Today cars are only used to pick up guests at the high-speed rail station. Your guide will take you on foot to Kuanzhai Alley and People's Park.
Start this thrilling day by visiting the Giant Panda Base. Here, you can witness the adorable pandas munching on bamboo, frolicking, or scaling in a natural habitat. The base is dedicated to panda preservation and research. You'll gain insights into their behaviors and conservation initiatives. It's a wonderful opportunity to observe these charming creatures up close.
Next, head to the Sanxingdui Museum. It's a trove of ancient mysteries and cultural wonders. The excavated artifacts, with their distinctive and peculiar designs, offer a glimpse into a civilization from millennia ago. Appreciate the bronze masks, sculptures, and decorative items that display remarkable artistry. The exhibits and their stories enable you to comprehend a bygone era and its intricate society.
In the afternoon, take a fast train to Chongqing. Upon arrival, the driver will pick you up and transfer you to the hotel for check-in.
Notes: If time permits, you can enjoy the night view of Hongya Cave by yourself. It's an ancient city gate of Chongqing, featuring hanging foot buildings, antique commercial streets, etc. With 11 floors, you can view the greenery of Hongya from the hanging foot buildings, walk through the old streets to experience Ba Yu culture, enjoy hot pot while seeing the confluence of two rivers, and sample delicious food.
After breakfast, proceed to Wulong visit the Three Qiao Scenic Area of Wulong. The Tiankeng here is renowned globally for its magnificent and distinctive “Three Qiao and Two crater” landscape. The world's largest natural bridge cluster and the second largest Tiankeng cluster enhance each other's beauty. There are pits with bridge holes among them and bridges connected to pits, presenting a large-scale, imposing, and splendid sight.
After breakfast, journey to XianNv Mountain National Forest Park. With an average elevation of 1,900 meters and a peak reaching 2,033 meters, it encompasses 330,000 mu of forest and 100,000 mu of natural grassland. Renowned as "the first pasture in South China" due to its unique alpine grassland charm in the southern region, you can stroll across the grassland and relish the warm sunlight.
Post-lunch, back to Chongqing by car. Explore the millennium-old ancient town, Ciqikou, famed as "small Chongqing" with the saying "a slate road, millennium magnetic port", to immerse in the quintessential Bayu cultural essence. Tourists can sample a diverse range of Chongqing's specialty delicacies here.
Subsequently, we'll experience the Liziba Light Rail. From the building viewing platform, witness Chongqing's "internet-famous" light rail. The Chongqing Line 2 light rail train, which passes through residential buildings and arrives at Liziba station, literally "traverses the building", truly remarkable!
Finally, visit the Liberation Monument, the sole monument in China commemorating the victory of the Chinese nation's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression. Also, you can savor special cuisines at Bayi Yummy Street.
Say farewell to Chongqing, driver will meet you at the hotel lobby and transfer you to the airport to catch your flight. Wish you have a pleasant journey home.

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.

Payment and Deposit
1. 4 to 15 pax in a group (4 pax min, 15 pax max)
2. Typically we will take 600 USD per person as deposit when you book the trip (You can pay the deposit through WeChat/Alipay/bank transfer.)
3. Then the balance will be paid when you arrive. (Note: The balance needs to be paid 7 days before departure if your trip is just in the official Chinese holiday. E.g. Chinese New Year, Labor's Day, National Day)

If you have to cancel your trip for some unexpected reasons, we have the following policies:
1. FULL REFUND at least 15 days before departure date. (Note: except the cost of service fees paid for the third party, such as trains, hotels,transportation etc)
2. FULL REFUND if there is no flight and train to arrive resulted from extreme weather or government restrictions.
If the trip is cancelled due to severe weather conditions or any government restriction, full refund will be offered.
