Day 2Xi'an sightseeing

After breakfast,get ready for a full-day exploration of amazing Xi'an. First, pay a visit to Terracotta Warriors, which is an impressive and prominent discovery from Qin Dynasty and was excavated in the 20th century. You might be shocked by this amazing and unparalleled archaeological excavation, which is around 1.5 kilometers east of Emperor Qin Shi Huang's Mausoleum in Lintong. It is also known as "the eighth wonder of the world". Afterwards, continue our sightseeing to the Big Goose Pagoda, which is the most famous and well-preserved pagoda in China, also it is regards as a symbol of the ancient city. You can fully experience the Buddist style and see a variety of Buddha statues and have panoramic Xi'an city on the top floor. In the evening, we will head to the Grand Tang Dynasty Ever-Bright City,where you can fully enjoy the Tang style.Great Tang Ever-Bright City is based on the culture of the prosperous Tang Dynasty and mainly on the elements of Tang style.The lights show and the sculpture are the specialities.

Day 3Xi'an sightseeing and Departure

Enjoy exploring Xi'an for another day.Our first site is Shaanxi History Museum, located in the northwest of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an, the museum integrating national traditions, local characteristics and the spirit of the times. It has more than 370，000 cultural relics, with a time span of more than one million years. These collections represent the imposing image of 13-dynasties capital including Zhou, Qin, Han and Tang and so on. Then continue to Ancient City Wall, which is the best preserved city wall in China.The Ancient City Wall is one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.

Say goodbye to Xi'an, then you will be transferred to the airport. Wish you a pleasant journey home! (Please book a flight after 19:00)

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
