Day 1Guangzhou Arrival

Today you will catch the flight to Guangzhou. We will meet you at the airport with a welcome board, then bring you to the downtown hotel and check in. Have a good rest.

Day 2Chen Clan Ancestral Hall+Museum of Nanyue King+Beijing Road+Zhujiang Night Cruise

Morning after delighted buffet at hotel, today's tour begin with Chen Clan Ancestral Hall (陈家祠), a place both for offering up sacrifices to ancestors and for study. Afterwards, we will head to visit Shamian Island, which used to be the British and French concession, with beautiful Western style architecture. 

Pay a visit to the Museum of Nanyue King(南越王陵) located on Jiefang Bei Road, is the oldest and largest Han tomb with the most funerary objects in Lingnan Area. As one of the 80 famous museums in the world, it covers 14,000 square meters (150, 699.6 square feet) with 10 exhibition halls. 

Then transfer to Beijing Road(北京路步行街) is one of the most prosperous pedestrian streets in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou. There are many small restaurants selling delicious local snacks, such as wonton noodles, flank beef rice noodle, fish ball rice noodle, and special soft sausage. And enjoy a walking tour at "Guangzhou city living room" - Huacheng Square(花城广场). Evening take the fascinating cruise along the Zhujiang (Pearl) River(珠江夜游), enjoy the beautiful night view in Guangzhou.

Day 3Baomo Garden+Shawan Ancient Town+Six Banyan Temple+Yongqing Fang

Full day sightseeing in Guangzhou. First site we will visit today is Baomo Garden(宝墨园), located in Panyu District, Guangzhou. This water village showcases the architecture of Lingnan style, large-scale brick sculptures and porcelain carvings, as well as Zhao Tailai Art Palace and Zhao Tailai Collection Hall. As a park, Baomo Garden also cultivates a large number of Lingnan special bonsai and raises a koi which symbolizes good fortune.

Next, we will travel to Shawan Ancient Town(沙湾古镇) was built in the Song Dynasty and is a perfectly preserved by part of Panyu district. The town has a number of ancient buildings from the Ming and Qing Dynasties and the Chinese Republican eras, al of which fully represent the Lingnan style. Of course, there is no lack of special snacks available in Shawan, not the least of which is the specialty Jiangmainai.

Thereafter, continue the tour to Six Banyan Temple(六榕寺), with a history of more than 1,400 years. there were six old banyan trees in the temple. There is a towering Thousand Buddha Pagoda in the temple, which is a famous ancient high-rise building in Guangzhou. Coming out from the temple, we will enjoy a walking tour at Yongqingfang(永庆坊). This old street used to be the economic core area of southern China when the port opened in the late Qing Dynasty, and now it has become a popular check-in mecca for young Internet celebrities in Guangzhou. The collision of tradition and modernity, the interweaving of history and reality, is a representative of both "Xiguan flavor" and "modern fashion".

Day 4Chimelong Safari Park+Chimelong International Circus

Spend a whole day at Chimelong Safari Park(长隆野生动物世界). The park spans over 2000 acres of land including a large section of undisrupted Southeast China subtropical rainforest making it the largest eco-zoo in China. The park contains many wild animals from all over the world, of which many are rare species. It is a great place for family trips, there are plenty of animal performances in the park, and there is also a park zone designed specifically for children. It's a lot of fun! 

Then you will enjoy the amazing Chimelong International Circus(长隆国际大马戏). It showcases a wonderful circus performance that should not be missed. With a huge forest-like stage layout and a world-class team, more than 400 animals perform in realistic forests, hills, streams, and boats. There are also acrobatics and float parades to see. It is definitely an unforgettable entertainment experience.

Day 5Foshan Ancestral Temple+Lingnan Xintandi+ lion dance performances+Nanfeng Kiln

This morning, we will depart from hotel and transfer to today’s destination Foshan with about 1hr driving. When arrival, we will visit The Foshan Ancestral Temple(祖庙), includes ancient temple complexes like the Confucius Temple, Huang Feihong Memorial Hall and the Yewen Pavillion. Aside from the traditional Lingnan buildings, you can also enjoy lion dance performances(醒狮表演). And then walking in Lingnan Xintandi(岭南天地), which is located in the center of Donghuali, zumiao, Chancheng District, Foshan City. 

After that, we’re going to the Nanfeng Kiln(南风古灶). It is a ceramic themed area. There are ceramic kilns that have been used since the Ming Dynasty, ceramic museums where you can learn about various ceramic cultures, ceramic parks with many ceramic sculptures on display, ceramic workshops that sell various ceramic products, and more! You can also visit the famous Shiwan doll here. Next stroll around Shiwan Doll Street(石湾公仔街), it is a gathering place for ceramic dolls. There are various ceramic dolls for you to choose from, which can be used as souvenirs or given to friends.

Day 6Guangzhou Departure

Say farewell to Guangzhou. Then you will be transferred to the airport and back to your destination. Wish you a pleasant journey home!

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
