Day 1Hotel Pickup + Xidi or Hongcun Village

You will be picked from your centrally located hotel in Guangzhou, take the flight or train to Huangshan. Upon arrival, your guide will meet you and drive about an hour to Xidi Village to see old Ming and Qing courtyards, beautiful preserved countryside, shop for souvenirs and country products, and sightseeing, walk and dine.

And pay a visit to amazing small village, Hongcun Village and the nearby villages and countryside. Though it is only 28 hectares in size, it has landed a place in the World Heritage List for its long history, country scenery, and well preserved buildings dating hundreds of years.

Day 2Xidi Village and Hongcun Village to Mt. Huangshan

Enjoy the visit to the old Xidi Village and Hongcun Village in the morning. The villages has well preserved the traditional local architectural buildings, bridges, pool etc. that look particularly beautiful at night. Then drive about an hour to Mt. Huangshan entrance, where you will catch a cable car up to the mountain. Huangshan, in the east of China and close to Shanghai, is one of the most popular tourist destinations in China. It is steeped in picturesque natural landscapes and history.

Day 3Mt. Huangshan + Back to Guangzhou

Today continue visiting Mt. Huangshan, enjoying the mountain view with pines, fog and rocks that are the popular scenery. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the airport/train station to back to the hotel in Guangzhou.

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
