Day 1Beijing arrival

Today your travel begins with a welcome meeting at airport. After checking in the hotel, rest of your time is free to explore the Charming Beijing, with a long history and  profound culture. There are many historical sites worth visiting.

Day 2visit the Forbidden City, then take the flight to Zhangjiajie

A delighted day is coming. 

Morning we will drive to visit the Forbidden City, the largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years. It was the Chinese royal palace from the Ming Dynasty to the end of the Qing Dynasty.

After the visiting, we will drive you to catch the flight to Zhangjiajie.

Upon arrival, we will meet you at the airport and drive you for hotel checking in. Have a good rest and prepare for a wonderful experience in Zhangjiajie!

Day 3climb Yellow Stone Village, hike along the Golden Whip Stream

Good morning, today's tour starts from Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and we will first visit the Yellow Stone Village, with an altitude of more than 1200 meters. This area, surrounded by knife like cliffs, is the best and largest viewing platform overlooking the sandstone peak forest landscape, and also the best choice to watch the sunrise.

Then admire one of the most beautiful valleys in the world - the Golden Whip Stream. From here the peaks appear to shoot up into the sky like giant natural skyscrapers. The water in the stream is clear, the air pure and the site very well maintained. We will have a relaxing hiking along the stream.

Day 4admire Tianzi Mountain, take photos in Sky Field Garden, enjoy Yuanjiajie, then take Bailong Elevator down

Your today's trip now kicks off! We will head for one of the most famous attractions in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and the one that attracts the most tourists – Tianzi Mountain. You will ascend the mountain by cable-car and at the top you will be able to enjoy views of Warrior Taming Horse Rock and the Western Sea which are two of the most stunning mountain formations in the whole park and are really a pleasure to see. 

Continue to take shuttle bus to Sky Field Garden, from where you can see some rice field on the top of the peaks, which is very spectacular, hike down to a platform, you can get very close to the pillar mountains, which is one of the best view in the park!

Then take shuttle bus to the top of Yuanjiajie area, which is now famous for Avatar shooting base. From here, you'll stand at the same level with the mid-age pillars, which is bigger than those on Tianzi mountain. At last, take Bailong elevator down.

Day 5Zhangjiajie Departure

Today in the morning, you will say farewell to Zhangjiajie and be transferred to the airport, take the flight back to your sweet home. It has been a great holiday and we look forward to seeing you another China tour!

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
