Yellow Dragon Cave (Huanglong Cave)

840a26081c3a80bc8b3e8ada244be1b1.pngYellow Dragon Cave

Huanglong Cave is renowned as a "World Marvel of Karst Caves." Inside the cave, rainwater from the sky gathered, filtered and settled, to form a constant-temperature underground river that flows gently like a soft ribbon. As you ascend the stairs, numerous stalactites can be found in the cave, formed by the mineral-rich droplets dripping down from the cave walls. It is calculated that every centimeter of stalactite growth takes hundreds of years. Therefore, these stalactite pillars, standing tens of meters high, have borne witness to the history of Huanglong Cave. As you carefully move forward, feeling the slightly damp and smooth cave walls with your hands, you can admire the stalactites sparkling and shimmering in colored lights, as if they are weaving a fantastical dream. If the mountains and waters of Zhangjiajie leave you with a sense of awe, then the journey to Huanglong Cave is a special and dreamlike experience. Time is an inestimable artisan, using a chisel given by the nature, patiently and meticulously creating this amazing wonder over millions of years.

Monkeys: the Soul of Zhangjiajie

a2498339014cd5fb17fe71fdf93bb975.pngMonkeys

The soul of Zhangjiajie lies in the monkeys of Wulingyuan. They primarily gather in the Golden Whip Stream of the Forest Park and in the back garden of Yuanjiajie. These monkeys can be seen basking in the sun leisurely, or curled up in a group with their family, scratching each other's lice. You may also catch sight of a mother monkey wandering through the mountains with her cute little one, making it irresistible to capture the moment with a camera.

However, it's important to Note that these wild monkeys are not entirely docile. They can be mischievous and grab food from tourists' hands. If you're carrying a Plastic Bag, you'll definitely become a target. To avoid any injury, please refrain from showing your Food to the monkeys and avoid leaving your Backpack unattended far from your reach. Hope these cute monkeys will bring joy to your journey!
