Today you will arrive at Hohhot, the capital of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region in northern China. It is the most important city in Inner Mongolia and is home to 36 different ethnic groups. Inner Mongolia Travel Tips to prevent you from some unnecessary troubles

After breakfast, driver about half a hour to the Whistling Dune Bay ,which is named by the geographic phenomenon of "singing sand," Whistling Dune Bay is located in the Kubuqi Desert, Dalad Banner of Ordos City, Inner Mongolia. It situates at the easternmost borderline of desert in China and is called the Head of Dragon Desert. Han Tai Chuan River flows in front of it and Gu Zi Liang Mountain faces to the other side of the bank.

After breakfast, drive to visit Genghis Khan Mausoleum. Genghis Khan is a Mongolian hero who reunified the chaotic Inner-Mongolia prairie, made great contribution to the founding of the powerful Yuan Dynasty and enhanced greatly the interaction of the people of China. The Genghis Khan’s Mausoleum is about 15kms southeast of Atengxilian town of Ikinholo Banner in Inner-Mongolia. The Mausoleum was completed in 1954, but destroyed by Red Guards in the Cultural Revolution (1966-1976) and after many years’ restoration, the site takes on the present appearance. after lunch, After lunch, the Ordos Kangbashen new District will be arranged in the afternoon.

Transfer from Ordos to Hohhot, on the way to visit the Wudang Temple. Inner Mongolia Museum will be arrange in the afternoon. With a collection of 44,000 objects, the museum displays the unique ethnic history of Northern Tribes. This museum is a window to know Inner Mongolia deeply.

After breakfast, Dazhao temple will be arranged. It is the most beautiful temple in Hohhot and guest favorite pagoda. Following of Gelugpa sect of Tibetan Buddhism.

Afterwards, continue a trip to Five-pagoda Temple. Originally built in ancient Indian style, it is one of the only remaining parts of the Ci Deng Temple compound located in the Old City of Hohhot.
