Hi Lesley! It took a bit to write a more detailed feedback. As mentioned we enjoyed the trip overall! The guide was good and balanced the group well. We could see gorgeous landscapes. As we are quite active people that like to walk around, hike, etc it was a lot of time in the bus for us. I know the distances between the sites are quite long. One idea could be to fly to Yining and just do a tour in the valley and the Sairamlake, as one idea 

Hello. We are great. Just boarded the train out of Xinjiang. Yes, of course, I will be very happy to write a review. We really enjoyed the trip. We saw so many wonderful things and we feel like we saw so much in only 13 days. Thanks for all your help and great service. We could never organise such a trip without your help.

Hi Lesley, we are just back Shanghai, flight was delayed but still ok. We enjoyed our trip and the different visits. The way that the site is preserved is surprising, hopefully the 2 movies we can see before the visit are impressive and gave a good feeling of the culture. Mati temple, Ta er temple, Binglisi , Qinghai lake and Chaka were great. Hotels were all good as well as breakfast. All guides and drivers did their job very  well, special very good service to Tim and Pei the driver from Xining to Chaka  , both had very good knowledge of their surroundings .

Nur was an excellent guide, filled with knowledge, very smart and understands foreign standard well,paid attention to the details,we did not have a single problem despite countless check points and many stops. Pierre and l are extremely satisfied with his service and care throughout the trip.

Our trip is coming to an end and I would like to thank you, for your full support, from the very beginning. We had a very good time in XinJiang, the trip was fantastic. Let me comment a few things, I hope it can serve as a base for you to provide even better experiences to foreigners in the future:

1. guide service

Abdul was really good. He showed good knowledge about the region, kindness, respect. We learn a lot from him. He managed to optimize the itinerary and adjust to our needs.

Rocky is a great person, extremely kind and polite, we enjoyed the time we spent with him. In the other hand, we felt that Rocky was less familiar with the itinerary, less knowledgeable about the history, and less good with time management. Still he gave us full support and adapted to all our requests, he did his best, with time he understood us better and suggested very good activities

Victor was also very kind and attentive both nights he came to assist

2. drivers and cars

Zhang ShiFu, north part driver was amazing. Not only a very good driver but also a great person. We appreciated him a lot. Kashgar driver was also a very good driver.

3. itinerary

Tashkurgan, we wished we could have visited some spots along the road, but many places were not registered in our itinerary, which made things complicated. The best example is Taheman village, which is just by the road. Abdul stoped there for a few minutes, but we were all stressed as we did not have the papers, and could not truly visited. I would suggest to add these points to new itineraries, making the road trip more interesting.

Actually we realized that we spent a lot of time in the road, much more than what was indicated in the itinerary, we would suggest to review that for next trips  

4. Hotels:

Some hotels were simple but still clean, no problems with that

Urumqi: Wanda vista is much better than Hilton, better location, better rooms. I am not sure you should keep using Hilton.

Hemu: very good hotel, we loved, even if it was not down the main village, restaurant food was good and the rooms charming and comfortable, one of the best.

There are also a very few details that could have been corrected, nothing really important, but that could have showed a special attention: we mentioned we would prefer to stay in connected rooms, it seems it was possible in Radisson in Kashgar, but I am not sure they got the information so finally rooms were apart. 

5. Food

The guides adapted quickly to our needs and understood what we were looking for, we ate very good!

We were very happy you accepted to take us to the restaurants we have suggested in Urumqi. We suggest you to add these recommendations to your future itineraries 

6. Support

Thank you very much for always being there! You were very professional in all the moments, very attentive and reactive. 

Overall, the trip was really amazing.

Thank you so much for the plan and arrangements made by you. l enjoyed it a lot... a lot is A LOT!!...what a fantastic places!!! I am 100% satisfied , not only with the visited wonderful places, but also with the accompanying personnel: AJ&Anwar in Turpan; Liu in Dunhuang and the Master( William?)in Zhangye...all of them were very kind!... special mention to Zuoqiang in Dunhuang.
