Day 1Arrive in Huangshan City

Please arrange your own flight to get to Huangshan Tunxi Airport. We will meet you at the airport, transfer you to the hotel and check you in. Feel free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2Mount Huangshan

After breakfast, we will take a cable car to the summit and enjoy a walk in the mountains, witness soaring peaks, elegant pine trees and the tea of the clouds, stay overnight on the summit.

Mount Huangshan: A UNESCO World Heritage Site set amidst the loveliest mountains of China. Mount Huangshan, aka Mount Yellow, is a once-in-a-lifetime trek for many Chinese.

The Huangshan Mountain is renowned for its oddly shaped pines, spectacular rock formations, hot springs and seas of misty and melancholy clouds.

Day 3Mount Huangshan & Hongcun Village

In the early morning, you can admire the magnificent sunrise over the rolling clouds. Then stroll around the Mount Huangshan, enjoy the beautiful scenery. Afternoon, drive to Hongcun Village for overnight stay. You can watch the sunset along the South Lake in Hongcun Vliiage.

Day 4Hongcun Village & Take High-speed Train to Hangzhou

After breakfast, we will visit the Hongcun Village. The 900-year-old village of Hongcun has long drawn in-the-know Chinese visitors, who love its tranquil vibe and distinctive architecture. Walking the narrow lanes paved with quartzite and seeing farmers working in rice fields, with the reflection of ancient houses in the lake, should provide enough material to get you started on your own visual masterpiece.

After the visiting, you will be transferred to the train station and take an express train to Hangzhou.

Day 5Hangzhou

After breakfast, we will be taking a cruise on the West Lake to enjoy the beautiful views of lake and surrounding mountains. Then travel to visit one of China's most incredible cultural treasures-Lingyin Temple and Klippe Ling Yin. The last stop is at Longjing Tea plantation, where you will have an opportunity to sample newly harvested tea.

Day 6Wuzhen Water Town

The tour today will begin from the famous Wuzhen Water Town, one of the six ancient towns in the southern region of the Yangtze River, The small town, with houses made of black bricks and gray tiles contrasting sharply with the white walls, making it appear like a Chinese ink wash drawing. After enjoying the picturesque ancient town, we will drive all the way to Suzhou and have a good rest.

Day 7Suzhou & Shanghai

After breakfast, we will be visiting the Panmen, as the ancient architecture in Yuan Dynasty, it has been listed in the sixth Important Historical Monuments under Special Preservation. it is one of the signs in Suzhou. Then Visit the Lingering Garden, one of the four famous garden in China, Prominent in spatial processing, fully embodies the ancient house of the superb garden skills, excellent southern wisdom and the art of landscape architecture styles and characteristics. The tour will end at Tiger Hill as it is one of the landmarks of the city. Evening drive to Shanghai for rest.

Day 8Shanghai

Full day sightseeing in Shanghai. The tour will begin from Yu Garden, a classical garden, which was built in Ming dynasty. Black tiles and white walls establish a nonchalant and simple keynote . The dainty style makes one feel comfortable, and each exquisite window lattice is telling its own story, serves the record of the past delicate life. Every piece of roof tile is passing a sort of affection of pride and memories. next drive you to the Jinmao Tower, until 2015, it's the third highest skyscraper in Shanghai. Afternoon, stroll around the top commercial district in Shanghai: Nanjing Road. Thereafter, we will pay a visit to the Bund, This symbol of Shanghai is known worldwide as the "gallery of international architecture". Its assortment of buildings standing along the Huangpu River varying in height, color and architectural design make it one of the most magnificent skylines in the world. enjoy the scenery of Huangpu River, At the Baidu Bridge in the center of Shanghai City, Huangpu River flows together with the Wusong River (i.e. Suzhou River) and finally flows into the East China Sea.

Day 9Shanghai

Today we will start our journey from Shanghai Museum, which is located the center of Shanghai in people's square, it is a large museum of ancient Chinese art. here you will learn more about the history and culture. Next, we will travel to Jade Buddha Temple, A beautiful Buddhist temple constructed in 1882 housing two spectacular, imported, jade, Burmese Buddhas. Thereafter, we will be visiting Shanghai Xintiandi, It is the most expensive place to live in China, with some apartments costing more than Tokyo, New York and London. It is home to the Chinese elite and top executive expats. The final site we will visit today is Tianzifang, comparing with the brand new modern buildings, you can find the special architecture of old Shanghai city. It’s such a peaceful and quiet place to live.

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
