10 Days Beijing - Xi'an - Chengdu and Shanghai Private Tour

As the most famous and popular site the Great Wall, we will start early at 7:00 before the big groups arrive. After 2hr's driving, enjoy the cable car ride to the wall is peaceful and scenic. It is a fantastic experience to walking on the well-maintained wall where you also need a lot of water or an umbrella in the 2hr's visiting. Lunch will be arranged in the courtyard at the foot of the Great Wall.

Drive back to the city and visit the Bird's Nest National Stadium and Water Cube Aquatic Centre en route. Back hotel around 6pm.

Today is another day to explore culture and history in Beijing.

At 08:00, we will pay a visit to Tianan Men Square for 30 minutes. Continue the 3hrs exploration in Forbidden City, also called Palace Museum. Walk on the steps of the most magnificent and splendid palace complex in China. Feel the enchant atmosphere or to foresee the Emperors were ruling this great county. The Hollywood Movie “The Last Emperor” highly recommended before your visiting

After Lunch in the local Restaurant, make our way to Temple of Heaven,1-2hrs walking through the vast beautiful park to enjoy the impressive architecture and interesting story of the Chinese Emperors prayed for good harvest

Our final stop is the Summer Palace, a imperial garden consisting of vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in China. You can take the boat cross the island and then walk over to the temple on the hill. The climb up the stairs might be bit tired but so worth to enjoy incredible view from the top.

Take a night flight to Xian (2hrs). On your arrival, your driver will pick up and transfer you to check in the hotel. Have a good rest.

Tour starts at 08:00 and then drive 1 hour to get close to the incredible Terracotta Warriors in China’s first Emperor's Tomb built 2300 years ago,the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century.

After lunch in the local restaurant, head to ancient architecture and a holy place for Buddhists.- Big Goose Pagoda,The restored Buddha and building are beautiful with spectacular timber work and gilded features are recently built by donors, they make a fine job of explaining the role of Buddhism in China’s history.

Today is an another day to explore the history and culture in Xi'an.

First we pay a visit to Shaanxi History Museum, a treasure trove for anyone interested in the art facts of Chinese history. Exhibits numerous unearthed cultural artifacts and represents the imposing image of a 13-dynasties capital.

Afterwards, head up to the Ancient City Wall, the most well-preserved city wall and the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. Followed by the ancient Bell Tower, it is the most well-preserved ancient military defensive systems and the landmark of Xi'an. It is amazing to wander along the city wall with the bird's-eye view of the whole city.

Your today's trip now kicks off! In the morning, you will catch the high-speed train to Chengdu.

Upon arrival, we will drive about 2 hours to the first stop——Leshan Giant Buddha. Built in the Tang Dynasty(618AD-907AD), this 71-metre-high Buddha is the largest statue of Buddha around the world. It is carved on the cliff of Lingyun Mountain with a delicate design of drainage system. Here you can not only have a silent conversation with Lingyun Temple, but also take a cruise on the Minjiang River for a panoramic view of this giant Buddha.

Then head to next destination——Mount Emei, known as one of the Four Great Buddhist Mountains in China and is reputed for its profound Buddhism culture. We will stop before Baoguo Temple, which is the first temple of Mount Emei. As the portal of the whole mountain, it's the center of various Buddhist activities, and the Emei Buddhist Association is also here. 

After visiting, drive to the hotel for overnight stay. Have a good rest!

Freshen up in the morning and start your day! Then enjoy full day in Mount Emei exploration.

We will first take the sightseeing bus from the scenic area to Leidongping which is located at Lianwang Slope. Leidong Smoke Cloud is a meteorological phenomenon in the high and cold zone of Mount Emei. After a night’s rainfall, the smoke cloud will rise from the forests and sway with the wind, which forms a stunning and changeable scenery.

Then take the cable car up and down the Golden Summit. As the second highest peak of Mount Emei, it is a symbol and essence of Mount Emei. On the summit, there is a bronze hall. When the sun shines on it, its brightness dazzles the eyes just like the golden light.

After that, we will take the scenic sightseeing car to the mid-mountain Wannian Temple parking lot, and then take the cable car up the mountain to visit Wannian Temple. Then, walk to Qingyin Pavilion, Yixiantian, and finally down the mountain from the Ecological Monkey Zone. Monkeys here are used to tourists. They will jump from one tree to another at ease and may grab the food from your hands. If you are OK with the monkeys, here is the place you can have a lot of fun with them.

Then back to the hotel and have a good rest!

In the morning, wake up leisurely and after breakfast, walk from the foot of the mountain to visit Fuhu Temple.

Then drive back to Chengdu and our first stop is Renming Park which was built in 1911. It is now a relaxing place for locals. Enjoy the delicacy scenery and appreciate various flower shows. Drink tea is a must-do thing for you. Spend one afternoon, order a pot of tea and do nothing but relax.

Later, you will dip into Kuan & Zhai Alley, a relatively well-preserved ancient street in Qing Dynasty(1936-1912). It is a famous commercial and cultural pedestrain street in China. There are many delicious food, and you can enjoy your meal here.

In the evening, it is a good choice to roam freely in the street near hotel and enjoy the slow life of Chengdu. Have a good night!

Today, get up early and then hop in a car(1.5hr) and explore Panda Base where 18kms away from Dujiangyan and 90kms away from Chengdu. It is the only panda base in China. If you are animal lovers, this tour is an ideal one for you. You will have a chance to be a volunteer to feed and clean panda and observe their behavior closely. This is must be a memorable experience for your whole life.

Then, transfer to the airport to take the flight to Shanghai. Your Shanghai guide will be waiting to escort you back to your hotel for a good rest.

A full day for you to explore Shanghai City.  Tour begins from visiting a traditional Chinese Garden- Yu Garden eatablished in the period of Ming Dynasty(1368-1644). Though in a small size, it covers all the elements pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and corridors that a garden boast. Walk through the garden and enjoy a tranquil time by yourself. Then head to Shanghai Xintiandi, an international shopping and entertainment district. Roaming here, you will amazed by the China's rapid development.

Afterwards, you will visit one of the symbol of Shanghai- Bund. Lying along the side of Huangpujiang River with various architectural styles, Bund is recognized as "the museum of buildings". Stroll along the buildings, appreciate the beautiful scenery as well as feeling the charm of this century-long historical architectural ensembles.

There are no activities planned for Shanghai today. You will be transferred to take flight based on your schedule. Look forward to your next journey China.
