Today discover the city from Tian'anmen Square - the spiritual heart of China, followed by the Forbidden City, which had been the centre of power for more than 500 years from 1406 to 1912. Your heritage tour to the Forbidden City includes a regular visit to the three main palaces on the central axis and an in-depth exploration of other places where most tourists do not go.
Afterwards, our tour guide will bring you to visit the Jingshan Park and climb to the artificial Coal Hill to enjoy the panoramic view of the magnificent imperial complex of the Forbidden City.
Today is another day to explore culture and history in Beijing. Our final stop is the Summer Palace, a imperial garden consisting of vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in China. You can take the boat cross the island and then walk over to the temple on the hill. The climb up the stairs might be bit tired but so worth to enjoy incredible view from the top. Then you can stroll along the narrow Hutongs to get a glimpse of local life.
Then, you will be escorted to the airport and catch the flight to Lanzhou.

Your Lanzhou sightseeing will begin with Xiguan Mosque this morning. Xiguan Mosque was built by the Muslim merchants, and it is the one of top ten outstanding buildings in Lanzhou. The next scheduled destination will be Waterwheel Park, an ancient irrigation tool. then proceed to visit Yellow River Mother statues, explore the ancient history and culture of Gansu Province. and travel to First Bridge of Yellow River, it is the first highway bridge in the ancient Yellow River, also the second city steel bridge in China. After lunch,take bullet train from Lanzhou to Zhangye, upon arrival, our guide will escort you to check in your hotel.

After enjoy the nice breakfast at the hotel,our guide will lead you to Matisi Temple ( Horseshoe Temple ), The temple was named by the court as "Puguang Temple" in the 14th year of yongle Period in Ming Dynasty. It houses a saddle and one dragon gown given by some emperor in Qing Dynasty.
Then we will head to visit the Zhangye Danxia National Geological Park, which is 64.7 kilometres (One hour) , it is situated in the north of Qilian mountains. The area includes the colour hills in Linze country, ice hills, Danxia GanZhou District and PingShan lake. The scenic Danxia, is a distance of 40 km from east Zhangye city, north from Linze county town by 20 km, this is the most typical arid area of northern China.
It takes 2 hours ( 93 Kilometres ) from Mati Temple to Zhangye Danxia Landform.
Morning we will visit the Big Buddha Temple, which is the important place of the Silk Road. The Temple is the largest architectural relic in Gansu Province of the Western Xia (1038-1227) period. China's largest reclining Buddha is well preserved in this temple. afternoon, you will be transferred to the station to take the express train to Lanzhou.
It takes 7 minutes ( 1.7 Kilometres ) from Zhangye City to Big Buddha Temple.
It's time to say farewell to Lanzhou. After a pleasant breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport for the flight back to your hometown or next destination. Bon voyage!
