We had a superb time, thanks entirely to Lesley, her arrangements, and hand holding when we needed it. The hotels, vehicles, drivers, guides, sights she picked were spot on. My wife had the time of her life - an unforgettable adventure. On several other occasions too Lesley either answered the phone right away or called back within 5 minutes. For us this support was critical in having a trip to remember! 

I'm not a very forgiving reviewer, but for these guys I feel like rewarding a 10, not just a 5!

Beautiful trip. We had a nice group eager to discover this magnificent area and had multiple and excellent guides and drivers.

My group of 12, mainly seniors had a most rewarding time covering North Xinjiang,Turpan and Kashgar in October 2017. The tour was fine tuned by Lesley of Xinjiang travels. She not only did a fine job in arranging what we wanted to see, but added great suggestions and additional side trips to complete our appreciation of this marvelous part of China.Thank you again Lesley for the outstanding service. 

My husband and I booked a private tour of Western China from Dunhuang to Kashgar- Tax Korgan. It was a wonderful trip, interesting sights, great tour guides and beautiful scenery. Everything part of the trip was taken care of and we felt we got the best treatment for our money. I would highly recommend China Silk Road Travel.

Xinjiang is really a huge place with stunning views. However , the joinery is really long for us everyday. If I will come over again, 

I would stay in places such as Kanas and Nalat  grassland for a few days each to enjoy the view and forgo the rest places  , 

especially Nalat grassland which is really beautiful. Also, if there is a tour guide on top of a driver who can share more local 

information and history stories to us, that will make our trip more meaningful so that we won't sleep all the time on the car :) 

all of your guides and drivers were able to provide very good services and we are glad that we chose your company for organising our tour from Urumqi to Jianyuguan. And we remember you even travel all the way from Urumqi to Jiayuguan in order to get us the correct train-tickets !

We got back from a wonderful 10 day/9 night tour of the Chinese Silk Road cities. Since our tour was in early to mid-October, we started from Urumqi, and traversed the Hexi Corridor in the east direction, stopping in Turpan, Dunhuang, Jiuquan, Jiayuguan, Zhangye and ended in Lanzhou. We have a group of 14, and arranged a private tour with CITA Xinjiang, one of the major tour companies in Xinjiang. We spent a lot of time choosing a tour operator, and fortunately picked a great one. We worked with Lesley, and she was very organized, and addressed all our concerns quickly. I could not recommend her enough. The total cost turned out to be less than the pre-packaged tours sold by many travel agents.

I organized a private tour for a group of 14 people, traveling in Xinjiang and Gansu provinces in October 2016. I picked Lesley's company, Xinjiang China Travel, out of three tour agencies. I am happy to report that we are very pleased with the services we received from Lesley and her team.
During the planning process, we received very prompt responses to our questions on the trip such as accommodation choices, scenic stops, restaurant choices, etc. We got very detailed descriptions of our itinerary, and clear breakdowns on costs. Lesley provided English-speaking guides on the three segments of the tour, and we were able to select restaurants ourselves and order food according to our preferences. She delivered on what she promised, such as a large, clean tour bus, refunds on admissions for seniors at various attractions, etc. Overall she exceeded our expectations.
