We got back from a wonderful 10 day/9 night tour of the Chinese Silk Road cities. Since our tour was in early to mid-October, we started from Urumqi, and traversed the Hexi Corridor in the east direction, stopping in Turpan, Dunhuang, Jiuquan, Jiayuguan, Zhangye and ended in Lanzhou. We have a group of 14, and arranged a private tour with CITA Xinjiang, one of the major tour companies in Xinjiang. We spent a lot of time choosing a tour operator, and fortunately picked a great one. We worked with Lesley, and she was very organized, and addressed all our concerns quickly. I could not recommend her enough. The total cost turned out to be less than the pre-packaged tours sold by many travel agents.

I organized a private tour for a group of 14 people, traveling in Xinjiang and Gansu provinces in October 2016. I picked Lesley's company, Xinjiang China Travel, out of three tour agencies. I am happy to report that we are very pleased with the services we received from Lesley and her team.
During the planning process, we received very prompt responses to our questions on the trip such as accommodation choices, scenic stops, restaurant choices, etc. We got very detailed descriptions of our itinerary, and clear breakdowns on costs. Lesley provided English-speaking guides on the three segments of the tour, and we were able to select restaurants ourselves and order food according to our preferences. She delivered on what she promised, such as a large, clean tour bus, refunds on admissions for seniors at various attractions, etc. Overall she exceeded our expectations.

just to let you know the train trip went very smoothly and successfully. and thank you for organizing the porters. it is very helpful. without them our group particularly the elderly will find themselves in great difficulty. everyone enjoyed the train ride and they are happy with the dinner box. i myself is very pleased with the result, something i worried for awhile. the group is happy with the tour.

We had a wonderful time. Thanks a lot for organisation. We loved the food (especially yoghourt et lamb kebab !), the landscape near the Karakul lake were amazing, markets and bazars in Kashgar and Urpan were so true, so typical. In Urumqi, we appreciate the quality of the Museum (especially the momies), karez irrigation system was very smart, Jiaohe ruins full of history and well preserved. The old city of Kashgar was very original, the street with craftsmen was great and cemetary interesting. We really appreciate to be received in a house of kirgiz people. Kids loved camel and horse rides… Both guides were very kind and interesting ; we appreciate Abdul adaptability, empathy and knowledge. He speaks french very well.

We would like to thank you for your team and your professional work, we had a great time in Kashgar. The guide and driver are both very helpful,informative and careful, vehicle is safe and comfortable.And it's really worth to visit the Shipton's Arch.

We have organised a private tour for 10 people in 2016 through XINJIANG CHINA INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AGENCY to Urumqi, Karakul Lake, Taxkorga, Kashgar, Kuqa, Turpan.
