Back in September2018 a group of 18 of us from Malaysia joined the Silk Road Tour organized by Xinjiang China International Travel. We extremely enjoyed our 17days tour.The Tour itinerary was very interesting. We visited numerous historical places,saw magnificent structure and were amazed by Spectacular views of mountain scenery. We are very lucky to have joined this tour by Xinjiang China International Travel as they covered every aspect of our tours with high level of excellence and satisfaction e.g. from airport transport, interstate travel arrangement, meals and hotel accommodation. Apart from that our tour guide is very helpful and gave us detailed information of the places of structure we saw . He spoke fluent English and Mandarin too. Here I would highly recommend travel to all my friends and anyone who wish to visit Silk Road in near future. The Tour was fantastic and we left SilkRoad with beautiful memories.

We have discovered an beautiful and amazing part of China with incredibles ancient cultures, with very friendly people, with delicious food, with prettyu landscapes...

We are at the end of this part of the Silk Road trip. We will continue into Kazakstan, Uzbekistan and so on
here are some thoughts:
Organization: superb - everything was very well organized from the very start to the very end.
Guides: All good
the hardest working: the lady in Dunhuang. They were long days.
the most welcoming: the lady/ and her driver in Kyrgistan. They went the extra mile: stopping for local drink, taking us to local restaurants,  and more.
Hotels: All of good quality BUT we do not actually like large industrial scale hotels; so our favourites by far were the little ones: The small hotel in Turpan with very friendly staff and an outdoor courtyard restaurant. They Yurt and Homestay in Kyrgistan.
Sights: we saw lots and could not have asked for more.

There were 16 of us in our tour group, 7 from Canada, 7 from USA, and 2 from Malaysia. We were all friends before the tour, and it was a consensus among us that what we had was the best tour we ever had. I was the contact person and I made all the tour arrangements with Lesley, the manager of Xinjiang China Travel. She was truly a joy to work with, as she always responded promptly to my emails and messages. What we had was essentially a private tour and there was no mandatory shopping stops. Based on our initial requirements, Lesley provided a tour itinerary from their list of tours.
The tour itself had been very well organized. The tour logistics of arranging for transportation, accommodation as well as the meals over such a vast tour area had been excellent. I highly recommend the silk road tour with Lesley and the Xinjiang China Travel. They would accommodate a tour group of as small as one person. If you have friends to form your own group, like what we had, that would be ideal.

Took the route: Xi'an - Dunhuang - Turpan - Urumqi - Kashgar. Lesley has a team of very responsible guides. We had 4 good ones, out of which the first 3 from Xi'An to Urumqi were super knowledgeable historian guides! We were blown away by the sights and the personal narrations provided. The 4th guide in Kashgar gave no history info but was at least responsible. Be prepared to feel interrogated from Turpan to Kashgar by the national security operation everywhere which appear to be the norm. All part of the adventure not meant for the faint-hearted. Lesley is a professional good tour operator.

With Lesley efficiency, responsiveness and flexibility, she got my sister and me onto a private tour within 2 weeks of first contact. 
This trip has surprising, amazing and wonderful as i did minimum research on the tour and agent. I just went with my guts to engage Lesley. I would absolutely come back for the other parts of china in future. 
No words can describe the service, tours and sights that we have been put up and seen. It was a trip of a life time and i would definitely recommend Lesley to anyone for her service and the itinerary that she has planned. With the Birthday surprise, constant checking on our comfort through the trip and stepping in to help us with our flight, i cant thank her enough and am very grateful that Lesley is always there to help us.

Many thanks to Lesley of China SilkRoad Travel for planning and putting this itinerary together for us. She was very prompt and responsive to our questions and assisted us during our trip when we had issues with airport check-in (even thought it was not a matter concerning tour package). Thanks for arranging for the birthday surprise as well! Trip wise, it was packed with the key attractions for the route we took An eye opening experience facilitated by friendly, informative, good English-speaking local guides. Must mind to pack snacks or take heavy breakfast as lunch may be skipped. The driver and guide took good care of us and made sure the road trips and transfers were as comfortable and smooth as they could be. At Kashgar, guide also acceded our request to visit a livestock market which was not in the original plan. Blessed and best decision we made for going with China Silk Road Travel.

This was one of our best holidays, a Silk Road private tour. Lesley took great care in accommodating our requests at the planning stage and always responded to emails promptly. We had a rather complicated itinerary, with 7 stops, as many different hotels, 6 high speed train journeys, all in 10 days, and with 5 different sets of Guide and Driver. Everything worked like clockwork. Excellent choice of itinerary, great hotels and very helpful and experienced guides and drivers The price was very reasonable. I would highly recommend booking private Silk Road tours with this company.

I have been using the services of XINJIANG CHINA INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL AGENCY several times between 2010 and 2014. The places I wanted to visit are the famous grottoes of the Turfan area (Kyzil, Besäklik, Komtura etc.) with their Buddhist paintings, the “sand buried cities”, as well the Buddhist monasteries in DunHuang, and along the yellow River until Xian.

Lesley the CEO of CITA and my guide, Aisha, have been extremely helpful, very well organized and willing to adapt to my travel plans, which covered many places of difficult access and accommodation; I specially appreciated their ability to come up with alternative routes and places to visit when some local events required sudden changes to the plans;

I can therefor highly recommend their services to anyone who wants to discover the many hidden or less known places along both legs of Xinjian part of the Silkroad from Kashgar to Xian.
