Tianshui Maijishan Airport was officially opened to traffic on September 28, 2008, and on December 24,2023, with the smooth landing of China Airlines flight G52636, it marked the successful resumption of Tianshui Airport after 1 year and 3 months of suspension, and also marked the opening of Tianshui "Air Silk Road" once again. Tianshui Maijishan Airport serves 5 cities in China, namely Tianjin, Nanjing, Hangzhou, Chongqing and Xi 'an.
