Travel Testrictions

Foreigners need to apply for the appropriate visa according to their travel purposes, such as tourist visas, business visas, etc. Citizens from some European countries can visit China visa-free for 15 days until December 31st, 2025. Europeans from France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Austria, Belgium, Hungary, Ireland, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, Portugal, Greece, Cyprus, and Slovenia can visit China visa-free for 15 days until December 31st, 2025. For those not from these countries or planning to stay longer than 15 days, they need to apply for an appropriate visa in advance.

Passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the intended period of stay in China, with at least two blank pages for visas and stamps.

It is necessary to fill in the customs declaration form truthfully when entering the country and go through the customs formalities in accordance with the regulations.
