After breakfast, you will take a boat cruise down Jiuqu Stream to view the elegant scenery, consisting of towering mountains, verdant plants, blue skies, and clear water. The Danxia landform by the river is a highlight of Mount Wuyi. Throughout history, many painters and poets have visited Mount Wuyi for inspiration, and as a result, there are many inscriptions there.

Next, head to Wuyi Palace, which was first constructed in the Tang Dynasty and is located at the mouth of Nine Bend Stream and now preserves two Dragon wells, Wannian Palace, and Sanqing Hall. Wannian Palace serves as the memorial hall of Zhu Xi and boasts sweet-scented osmanthus trees in the courtyard with over 1,000 years of history, known as the 'king of sweet-scented osmanthus trees'.

After lunch, you will visit Tiger Roaring Rock and A Thread of Sky. The Roaring Tiger Rock is a desk-typed hill with cliffs at a sea level of 424.2 meters. Hiking on the zigzag trails makes people feel as if they are ascending to the sky. The Thread of Sky is located in the south of the main Wuyi Mountains in a deep valley near the Second Twist River. There is a giant rock that covers three caves, leaving a tiny gap of less than one meter, allowing light to squeeze through from the sky. After you walk into the cave, at some point deep and dark enough, you will find yourself squeezing your body through two giant rocks in the dark with only a tiny thread of light shining on you from the sky high above, giving you a sense of light coming from heaven. Visiting the Roaring Tiger Rock takes about two hours and one hour for viewing A Thread of Sky. The two attractions combined will take you half a day.
