10 Days China Travel to The Great Wall and Yangze River Cruise

Nihao, welcome to Beijing, the capital of China. Be transferred to the hotel. Relax and prepare for your Natural wonders and Culture Adventure.

As the most famous and popular site the Great Wall, we will start early at 7:00 before the big groups arrive. After 2hr's driving, enjoy the cable car ride to the wall is peaceful and scenic. It is a fantastic experience to walking on the well-maintained wall where you also need a lot of water or an umbrella in the 2hr's visiting. Lunch will be arranged in the courtyard at the foot of the Great Wall.

Drive back to the city and visit the Bird's Nest National Stadium and Water Cube Aquatic Centre en route. Back hotel around 6pm.

Today is another day to explore culture and history in Beijing.

At 08:00, we will pay a visit to Tianan Men Square for 30 minutes. Continue the 3hrs exploration in Forbidden City, also called Palace Museum. Walk on the steps of the most magnificent and splendid palace complex in China. Feel the enchant atmosphere or to foresee the Emperors were ruling this great county. The Hollywood Movie “The Last Emperor” highly recommended before your visiting

After Lunch in the local Restaurant, make our way to Temple of Heaven,1-2hrs walking through the vast beautiful park to enjoy the impressive architecture and interesting story of the Chinese Emperors prayed for good harvest

Our final stop is the Summer Palace, a imperial garden consisting of vast ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces in China. You can take the boat cross the island and then walk over to the temple on the hill. The climb up the stairs might be bit tired but so worth to enjoy incredible view from the top.

Take a night flight to Xian(2hrs). On your arrival, your driver will pick up and transfer you to check in the hotel. Have a good rest.

Tour starts at 08:00 and then drive 1 hour to get close to the incredible Terracotta Warriors in China’s first Emperor's Tomb built 2300 years ago,the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century.

After lunch in the local restaurant, head to ancient architecture and a holy place for Buddhists.- Big Goose Pagoda,The restored Buddha and building are beautiful with spectacular timber work and gilded features are recently built by donors, they make a fine job of explaining the role of Buddhism in China’s history.

Today is an another day to explore the history and culture in Xi'an.

First we pay a visit to Shaanxi History Museum, a treasure trove for anyone interested in the art facts of Chinese history. Exhibits numerous unearthed cultural artifacts and represents the imposing image of a 13-dynasties capital.

Afterwards, head up to the Ancient City Wall, the most well-preserved city wall and the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world. It is an amazing to wander along the city wall with the bird's-eye view of Xi'an.

Then take a night flight for 2hrs to Guilin. Check in the hotel and have a good rest.

East or west, Guilin is the best. Today our adventure begins with Guilin, the most pictureque place in China, where you can visit Yao minority village and Pingan village housing rice terraces. 

Then drive 1.5hrs to Yangshuo surrounded by karst peaks to visit Li River. You can explore Xianggong Mountain in which the sea of clouds, sunrise, shadow and rosy clouds attract countless photography enthusiasts and photographers. 

Later drive back to Guilin and take a bullet train(4hrs) to Chongqing. On your arrival, check in and have a good rest for the next two days’ Yangtze River Cruise.

Drive 4hrs to pay a visit to Shibaozhai positioned at the south of Yangtze River. It is an wooden architecture with a total of 12 stores that each of them has magnificent murals and sculptures. If you are interested in lengendary stories, we will take you to visit Fengdu Ghost City. 

Then you will have a side trip to the terrific view of the surrounding river, farms and village. Walk leisurelly at this beautiful place and enjoy your rest of the day

Another day to Yangtze River Cruise. You'll pass through the shortest and steepest Qutang Gorge, one of the beautiful gorges in Yangtze River. So be sure to take a camera and picture the magnificent view of nature as you sit back and relax.

Continue your footprint to view Wu Gorge with picturesque natural scenery and profiund culture atmosphere. You will visit the famous Fengjie Ancient City, White Emperor City, Kuimen, etc. The whole gorge is full of grotesque peaks and rocks and what you will then stop here is Twelve Peaks of Wushan, which is a fabulous spot you cannot miss. There are also many small streams worth for you to see. Stroll around those streams and enjoy your peaceful time of your own.

In the late afternoon, drive back to Chongqing and then take a night flight(2.5hrd) to Shanghai. Check in and have a good rest.

A full day for you to explore Shanghai City.  Tour begins from visiting a traditional Chinese Garden- Yu Garden eatablished in the period of Ming Dynasty(1368-1644). Though in a small size, it covers all the elements pavilions, halls, rockeries, ponds and corridors that a garden boast. Walk through the garden and enjoy a tranquil time by yourself. Then head to Shanghai Xintiandi, an international shopping and entertainment district. Roaming here, you will amazed by the China’s rapid development.

Afterwards, you will visit one of the symbol of Shanghai- Bund. Lying along the side of Huangpujiang River with various architectural styles, Bund is recognized as "the museum of buildings". Stroll along the buildings, appreciate the beautiful scenery as well as feeling the charm of this century-long historical architectural ensembles.

Farewell to Shanghai. Today our journey comes to an end after a good breakfast. You will be transferred to the airport or train station based on your schedule. Wish you a pleasant journey home.
