Day 1Chongqing Arrival

Your voyage begins in Chongqing, where the Goddess Cruise awaits at the bustling port from 17:00-19:00. As twilight casts golden hues over the city, step aboard and settle into your elegant cabin. A safety briefing prepares you for the adventure ahead, and as the ship slips away from the dock, the hum of the engines merges with the whispers of the Yangtze. Before retiring to the deck you can watch Chongqing’s skyline fade into the night.

Day 2Snow Jade Cave & War Fire of Three Kingdom Show

Morning light reveals the rugged shores of Fengdu, where a guided tour leads you into the Snow Jade Cave, its crystal-clear pools and shimmering stalactites glowing like frozen poetry. And after hours of cruise in the afternoon, you can opt to watch the spectacular "War Fire of the Three Kingdoms" show (approx. 70min, $45/pp/tour) begins at 19:00 or participate in onboard cultural activities like paper cutting and calligraphy.

Day 3Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge & Small Gorges

At dawn, the ship glides into the narrow Qutang Gorge, its cliffs towering like sentinels guarding the river. Opt to disembark at White Emperor City(approx. 2.5h, $45/pp/tour), perched high above the water, where tales of emperors and poets echo through ancient courtyards. By midday, transfer to a sampan for the Lesser Three Gorges, where jagged peaks and tranquil waters create a scene untouched by time. Glide past hidden villages, their wooden houses clinging to hillsides, and if adventure calls, extend your journey to the even remoter Little Lesser Three Gorges (approx. 2h, $30/pp/tour). As dusk paints the sky, cruise into the misty embrace of Wu Gorge, its legendary Goddess Peak watching silently from the clouds.

Day 4Three Gorges Dam & Yichang

Your final morning begins with a hearty breakfast as the ship docks at Three Gorges Dam. Step ashore to marvel at this colossus of modern engineering, its concrete slopes holding back the power of the Yangtze. For a grand finale, opt to witness the Ship Lift in action—a jaw-dropping spectacle of ships ascending like waterborne elevators(approx. 2h, $50/pp/tour). Afterward, a shuttle whisks you to Yichang’s vibrant city center, where the journey concludes, leaving you with memories of gorges shrouded in myth, crystalline caves, and the river’s eternal flow.

Climate and Altitude

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd. No need to worry about high altitude along the Silk Road. We will prepare Oxygen bags if the package includes Xiahe, Qinghai Lake and Taxkorgan County.
