Customize your journey with optional tours like the "Three Gorges Tribe" visit or cultural workshops, blending adventure with moments of leisure.
Your journey begins at Maoping Pier in Yichang, where the cruise staff warmly welcomes you aboard from 17:00 to 22:30. As twilight paints the sky, settle into your cabin and savor a sumptuous buffet dinner accompanied by free-flowing wines and local beers. A safety briefing prepares you for the days ahead, while the gentle hum of the ship’s engine signals the start of your voyage upstream.
Awaken to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and join a tranquil Tai Chi session on the deck, harmonizing your breath with the river’s rhythm. After breakfast, choose to explore the "Three Gorges Tribe,"(approx. 5h, $45/pp/tour) where traditional stilt houses and folk performances bring local culture to life, or you can also immerse in onboard activities. Then prepare to stand in awe at the Three Gorges Dam, its colossal structure is a testament to human ingenuity. As evening falls, toast to new adventures at the Captain’s Reception, followed by stargazing on the deck or family fun with curated children’s activities.
At dawn, the ship glides into the ethereal Wu Gorge, where jagged peaks draped in clouds. Disembark for a small-boat excursion along Shennv Stream, its tranquil waters reflecting emerald forests and hidden villages. Later, cruise through the narrow Qutang Gorge, its cliffs towering like nature’s cathedral. Opt to ascend to the White Emperor City(approx. 3h, $45/pp/tour), perched high above the river, where poets and warriors once stood. Return to the ship for a gourmet dinner, then delight in a lively crew cabaret or unwind under the stars.
Morning light reveals the enigmatic Fengdu Ghost City, where statues of mythical judges and ghostly tales await. Wander through temples adorned with intricate carvings, unraveling stories of karma and the afterlife. Back onboard, indulge in cultural workshops or simply relax as the Yangtze’s ever-changing vistas unfold outside your window. As night descends, enjoy a final buffet dinner and perhaps a movie under the stars, savoring the river’s tranquil embrace.
The final morning comes as the ship approaches Chongqing’s bustling port. Disembark with memories of misty gorges, engineering marvels, and moments of quiet reflection—a journey where history, nature, and luxury sailed alongside you.
