Board the cruise in Chongqing between 16:30 and 20:00, where your luggage will be handled seamlessly. A lavish buffet dinner awaits, followed by a safety briefing. The evening culminates in the Captain's Welcome Reception, where you’ll toast to the journey as the ship glides away from the illuminated cityscape of Chongqing at approximately 22:00.
At dawn, join a Tai Chi session on the deck to awaken your senses. After breakfast, disembark to explore the "Fengdu Ghost City," wandering through its temples and statues that depict the afterlife in Chinese mythology, while hanging around in this attraction please remember that lunch begins at 12:00. And after hours of cruise in the afternoon, you can opt to watch the spectacular "War Fire of the Three Kingdoms" show (approx. 70min, $45/pp/tour) begins at 18:00 or participate in onboard cultural activities like paper cutting and calligraphy. As dusk falls, the cruise enters the gateway to the Three Gorges, offering breathtaking views of the towering cliffs along the riverbanks.
In the morning, cruise through Qutang Gorge, marveling at the imposing Kuimen Gate. For an optional tour, you can visit the White Emperor City, perched high above the gorge, and immerse yourself in the poetic history of the Three Kingdoms(approx. 2.5h, $45/pp/tour). Glide through the misty peaks of Wu Gorge, where the legendary Goddess Peak stands tall. Later, transfer to a small boat to explore Shennv Stream, a tranquil waterway surrounded by lush mountains and traditional villages. Return to the ship for dinner, followed by a crew talent show or family-friendly activities for children.
At sunrise, arrive at Maoping Pier in Yichang and enjoy your breakfast. After that, embark on a shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam, where you’ll ascend to the viewing platform for a panoramic view of the dam and its reservoir. For an enhanced experience, opt for the ship lift tour, you can transferring to a smaller boat to witness the massive vessel elevator in action(approx. 3h, $45/pp/tour). Conclude your journey in downtown Yichang, carrying the memories of the Yangtze River’s grandeur as you continue your travels.

Generally speaking Mid March—End Oct are the best time to visit Silk Road. And we strongly suggest you come in May, June, October to avoid the heat and crowd.
